Yesterday, some of our employees enjoyed a unique experience at the Stade de France, watching the Para Athletics games. Seeing all these athletes, despite their differences, pushing back their limits, was a real source of inspiration. We were impressed by their talent and determination, reminding us of the importance of celebrating diversity and inclusion, not only in sport, but also in the professional world. Even though 2024 has got off to a better start than the previous two years, the first quarter has seen a slowdown in activity in the United States, and emerging countries acting as a relay for the global economy. At the same time, #economic, #political and #social risks persist throughout the world. Our RISE leadership programme has just ended for our first class! 👏 Accelerating managers’ #development and strengthening our #leadership culture were the main two objectives of #RISE. Participants from 18 countries embarked on an 8-month experience including a variety of development activities: self-awareness exercises, co-development in small groups guided by Turningpoint Leadership coaches and Coface HR, inspirational talks with top management and external guest speakers... "The aim is to develop key leadership behaviors that will benefit Coface as a whole, as these skills are put into practice. ⛩️ Discover our latest #corporate payment survey in #Asia! We surveyed around 2,400 #companies across the Asia-Pacific region to gain insights into the evolution of #payment behaviour and #credit management practices. Here are the key points to remember: ➡️ Payment terms decreased to 64 days in 2023 from 66 in 2022. ➡️ Late payments were more frequent, but their average duration fell from 67 to 65 days. ➡️ Textiles and construction are the most affected sectors by these delays. ➡️ 56% of companies expect the economic outlook to improve in 2024 “The surveyed companies are concerned with about half of respondents citing slowing demand and over-competitive pressures as the two main risks to their company’s operations in 2024.” said Bernard Aw, Chief Economist Coface Asia Pacific. 👉 Find the full #survey on https://lnkd.in/e_HuC-zQ
