Confidential VM pricing

Confidential VM incurs additional costs on top of Compute Engine pricing. For full details on Compute Engine pricing, see All pricing.

Using Confidential VM does not affect contractual discounts that are applied to underlying Compute Engine services.

For Compute Engine, disk size, machine type memory, and network usage are calculated in gigabytes (GB), where 1 GB is 230 bytes. This unit of measurement is also known as a gibibyte (GiB).

If you pay in a currency other than USD, the prices listed in your currency on Cloud Platform SKUs apply.

Pricing overview

Confidential VM incurs additional flat per-vCPU and per-GB costs, which vary depending on whether a Confidential VM instance is on demand or preemptible, and what Confidential Computing technology is used.

AMD SEV pricing

The following pricing structure applies to AMD SEV VM instances:

Spot prices are dynamic and can change up to once every 30 days, but provide discounts of 60-91% off of the corresponding on-demand price for most machine types and GPUs. AMD SEV-SNP pricing

The following pricing structure applies to AMD SEV-SNP VM instances:

This product or feature is subject to the "Pre-GA Offerings Terms" in the General Service Terms section of the Service Specific Terms. Pre-GA products and features are available "as is" and might have limited support. For more information, see the launch stage descriptions.

During Preview, Intel TDX VM instances don't incur additional costs. The following pricing structure applies when TDX is released to General Availability.
