The Shanghai Xintiandi community has been awarded the prestigious LEED v4 Neighborhood Development: Built Project Gold certification for its excellence in integrative planning, the mixed-use concept of Live-Work-Play-Learn, carbon emission reduction, resource conservation, as well as transportation connectivity and accessibility. As one of the most widely used green building and urban development rating systems, the LEED v4 certification emphasizes full-lifecycle sustainability integration and investment from planning and design to construction and operation. This recognition highlights Shui On's steadfast commitment to embedding sustainable principles into every project since the planning stage. [Shanghai Xintiandi Transitions to 100% Renewable Electricity] We're delighted to announce that our flagship, Shanghai Xintiandi, is now fully powered by 100% renewable electricity – making it the first integrated commercial complex in Shanghai's city core to attain this.   This shift is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 25,280 tonnes annually, equivalent to the carbon sequestration impact of planting 2.5 million trees. It also accelerates progress towards our Science-based Target Initiatives (SBTi) Scopes 2 and 3 emission targets by increasing the Group's total electricity consumption from renewable sources to 45%.   Furthermore, the newest addition on Shanghai Xintiandi's eastern front - the 390,000 sq.m. CPIC Xintiandi Commercial Centre, featuring three Grade A office buildings and Xintiandi Galleria - will also operate solely on renewable electricity upon its completion and opening in 2025. Mr. Allan B. ZHANG, Chief Executive Officer, Shui On Xintiandi Limited, said, "We are delighted to achieve full renewable electricity coverage for Shanghai Xintiandi. Today Shui On Land has announced our annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. Despite a continuing downturn in the property market, the Group has achieved resilient performance. It has recorded a net profit of RMB1,397 million, with profit attributable to shareholders amounting to RMB810 million. Proactive and prudent capital management enables us to maintain a stable balance sheet and adopt various means of financing to enhance our liquidity. The value of the Shui On brand has been clearly demonstrated in the challenging environment. La Riva III of Wuhan Tiandi recorded strong sales and achieved the highest pre-sale price ever recorded in Wuhan. Successful openings of new commercial projects, namely Shanghai Panlong Tiandi and Shanghai Hong Shou Fang, supported rising rental income.
