Büro Ole Scheeren unveiled "Scenic City" the new headquarters for JD.COM, blending urban vitality with nature in Shenzhen, China. The development consists of two towers reaching up to 200 meters , which includes offices, hotels, retail, and cultural spaces connected by a landscaped "urban spine." The design incorporates open-air terraces and vertical greenery to create a #sustainable and engaging environment. Our Scenic City project in Shenzhen has been featured on Archinect. Scenic City is a mixed-use development designed as the new headquarters for JD.com, located in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District and currently under construction. It includes two towers connected by a podium and an adjacent landscaped "urban spine," creating a dynamic space for offices, hotels, retail, public facilities, and cultural activities. Büro Ole Scheeren unveils its winning design for scenic city in shenzhen. currently under construction, the project will serve as the new headquarters for JD.com, china's largest digital retailer, and eventually stand as a prominent landmark in the shenzhen bay super headquarters base. spanning about 186,000 sqm, the towers will house offices, a hotel, retail and cultural spaces across both towers, and an adjacent ‘urban spine’. both facades bear a subtle resemblance to waterfalls, a prominent feature of the region's natural landscape. meandering through them are a series of open, in-between spaces filled with greenery. construction is slated for completion by the end of 2027; the project will join a vibrant community of global corporations including ZTE, CITIC and OPPO.  https://buff.ly/3Wlaj59

Rising to 280 meters, it redefines the archetype of corporate skyscrapers with its minimalist and functional design. Part of The Springs, a major development by Tishman Speyer , it serves as a gateway to Yangpu District, one of Shanghai's most vibrant and future-oriented centers. Designed with an offset core, The Axiom offers adaptable floor plates, Sky Terraces, and a Roof Oasis, in a unique combination of functionality and contemporary design.
