COMPLEX PLASTIC PARTS are our specialty 💪    Making mid-volume plastic parts? This case study examines how we made 1000+ complex plastic parts using HRA222F PC + ASA Plastic Resin, Brass Inserts, Stainless Steel, and Silicone Rubber for Conservify’s FieldKit, a solar-powered case that supports conservation and protection of ecosystems. 🤩    After thorough review of the designs with our tooling engineers, who analyzed all the features including gate witness marks, draft angles, sliders and hinge details, we used sink EDM to make some of the deeper features in the mold tools, then produced 1000+ parts using injection molding. 📈    We also made compression molds to form the silicone sealing gaskets. This case study examines how we made several 100 complex steel, zince and aluminum parts for Gate Labs Inc. for their Smart Door Lock and Security Camera to help people feel safe and secure, and access their doors remotely. A complex product like this needs to not only function perfectly but it must also satisfy a number of aesthetic challenges. After partnering with our clients for a careful Design For Manufacturing review, we used PRESSURE DIE CASTING to machine zinc and aluminum parts, then injection molded the smart lock's plastic cover. We had the pleasure of hosting final year students from Western Sydney University at our expansive factory in Zhongshan, China. 🚀 Their project?
