We’re excited to launch our second public offshore Renminbi (RMB) green bonds (“green dim sum bonds”) which marks Swire Properties' largest offshore RMB bond issuance to date.    This transaction has raised an aggregate amount of RMB3.5 billion: with RMB1.75 billion at a coupon rate of 3.1% due in 2027; and RMB1.75 billion at a coupon rate of 3.4% due in 2029. This is also Asia's largest corporate offshore RMB issuance this year.   This marks a significant milestone for the Company as we aim to become a regular issuer in the offshore RMB market, to support our HKD100 billion investment plan with HKD50 billion earmarked for the Chinese Mainland market.     #SwireProps #SD2030 #GreenDimSumBond #Renminbi

So, what’s in store for “The Future of Cultural Ecosystems”? This is the question “Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme” students set out to answer in the final leg of their 2-month learning and cultural-exchange journey. https://lnkd.in/eKzyw9zw Last week in Beijing, we witnessed the fantastic conclusion to the Hong Kong Palace Museum’s flagship youth-learning initiative; and as Lead Sponsor, we were humbled and truly amazed by the insights, ideas and level of detail shared by participants during the get-together between students, Dr Wang Xudong, Director of the Palace Museum and special guests. We, of course, took this opportunity to take the students on a tour of Taikoo Li Sanlitun and learn about our distinct brand of placemaking, and how we integrate arts and culture into a commercial setting and everyday life. Programme participants also went on a full-day visit to the Palace Museum and visited the Department of Conservation Science. “We are delighted to have shared our experiences of successful placemaking with the third cohort of the ‘Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme’, showcasing the way we integrate art and local culture into our developments in Hong Kong, Chengdu and Beijing. Ultimately, we hope to empower the next generation to create vibrant and sustainable places where arts and culture can thrive as a part of everyday life. We’re honoured to have collaborated with numerous cultural institutions and many exceptional individuals, and we look forward to the impact that these students will have in the future.” – Tim Blackburn, Chief Executive of Swire Properties. #SwireProps #SD2030 #Placemaking #YouthEmpowerment #HongKongPalaceMuseum #HKPM #Community #SustainableDevelopment #Chengdu #Beijing #HongKong

Arts & culture is undoubtedly part of Swire Properties’ lifeblood, so we’re thrilled to once again support the “Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme” and inspire the next generation of ‘Cultural Entrepreneurs’. https://lnkd.in/dCNXmRMA   The Hong Kong Palace Museums’ (HKPM) flagship youth-learning initiative, this is the third edition, and we’re offering thought-provoking exchanges and cultural experiences that will give students fantastic exposure and a valuable opportunity to broaden their horizons.   One of the HIGHLIGHTS this time around is the tour of Taikoo Li Chengdu, our “urban regeneration project”, that will offer students unprecedented insights into our distinct brand of placemaking, and how we seamlessly integrate arts, culture and historical components into a commercial setting – from architecture to tailor-made programmes.   The goal, of course, is to help foster future cultural leaders and bring new energy to the arts and culture sector in Hong Kong, Beijing, Chengdu and beyond.   The theme this year is “The Future of Cultural Ecosystems”, and last week the programme officially kicked off amidst great fanfare and also with the support of renowned Hong Kong singer and artist Ivana Wong. During the session, Ivana shared her creative journey as a singer-songwriter, theatre and movie actress, curator of artistic exhibitions, and more importantly, her passion for and commitment to the arts and culture industry, with students.   More updates are coming, so stayed tuned! #SwireProps #SD2030 #Placemaking #YouthEmpowerment #HKPM #Community #SustainableDevelopment #Beijing
