    Trina Solar #Japan Energy #Secures 4,374 kWac in Japan’s 21st Solar #FiP #Tender 🙌 🙌 🙌 🎉 🎉 🎉 Trina Solar Japan Energy (‘TSJE’), the Japan regional team of the Trinasolar ISBU (International System Business Unit) has achieved a significant milestone with its successful #bid in the 21st round of solar Feed-in-Premium (FiP) tenders, as announced by the Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operators (OCCTO) on August 23, 2024. In this latest round, Trina Solar Japan Energy, along with Trina Solar, secured all four of its proposed projects, totaling 4,374 kWac. Totaling of 22 projects were awarded, with a combined output of 33,671 kW. The lowest awarded price was 5.00 JPY/kWh, while the weighted average price was 8.08 JPY/kWh, and the highest awarded price reached 9.13 JPY/kWh. This success underscores TSJE's commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and enhancing the stability of energy supply for local communities.     🎉 #Trinasolar Leads the Way in Hybrid Solar Innovation! We're excited to announce the successful commissioning of a 100MW hybrid project in Merchang, Terengganu—Malaysia's largest hybrid solar power plant to date! Developed by Cypark Resources Berhad, this project utilizes our Vertex modules and and combines the best of both worlds: 35MW of floating solar panels and 65MW of ground-mounted panels. Hybrid solar solutions are ideal for locations with limited land availability. In particular, floating solar offers unique advantages, including reducing water evaporation from reservoirs and higher energy production with the natural cooling effect of water. Moreover, our Vertex modules' dual-glass design captures sunlight from both sides, maximizing energy generation. This feature is beneficial for the ground-mounted system, where the white sandy soil reflects light onto the module's underside, ensuring sustained performance under harsh environmental conditions. This plant is expected to generate enough clean energy to offset 202,024 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Trinasolar is proud to support Malaysia's ambitious renewable energy goals, contributing to the nation's target of achieving a 70% renewable energy mix by 2050. #Innovation #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability
