Update 9/2019:Boy I’ve really turned around on this product. It is the freaking fountain of youth! The greasy feeling goes away and it absorbs into your face and it literally looks like I’ve taken 15 YEARS off my face. Asian women are obsessed with wrinkle busting and skin care and I’ve tried my fair share of luxe products over the years as a reviewer but time and again I keep coming back to these capsules. If I have an important meeting, I always make sure I apply this stuff beforehand. The results don’t require overnight. It is almost immediately within a half hour I notice my skin plump up. AMAZING!The first impression I got when I opened this box was -- wow, what a waste of packaging. If you're at all conscious about Earth-friendly packaging, recycling, or zero waste, then this product will probably give you a small heart attack. But I digress. The bottle contains a bunch of little capsules, which are oddly soft and rubbery, like a balloon. You twist the little nub off, the directions say turn it twice, but the nub pretty much exploded in my fingers. Then the contents were pretty much all over my hands. I quickly rubbed it all over my face, realizing: a) wow, this stuff is GREASY and b) there is far more volume in one of the small capsules than I'd prefer to slather onto my face. Perhaps this is by design, they need you to use this much in order to get the full effect? Or maybe they just want you to go through it faster so you have to run out and buy more. If I had a regular pump bottle, I would have preferred to use less product on my face in a single given application. As far as results: hard to tell. My skin definitely felt softer (and greasy). I'm not sure that the fine lines disappeared, the deep ones certainly didn't.

I started using these capsules after using the Murad Youth Renewal Night Cream for a couple months. I felt that maybe my skin was ready to stand up to a stronger Retinol. I'm very fair-skinned and have sensitive skin and I can still only handle using this Retinol formula twice a week or my skin gets very red. I love that the Retinol comes in individual capsules so it keeps the Retinol potent and it feels silky and smooth after applied on my skin. I can't speak to the wrinkle-fighting ability yet as I'm only using it twice a week but haven't specifically noticed anything. I felt like the price seemed a bit high for only getting 30 capsules but considering I only use them twice a week, it will last me awhile (or 15 weeks to be exact, for all you numbers people).

I would say I love everything about it except that it contain this particular ingredient.
