The staff was amazing the place was very nice. We had to move rooms due to noisy people above us, they were very accommodating though. There was also a homeless man blasting music in the lobby that the staff removed. San Fran has a lot of drugs and homelessness it’s very sad and even over here we saw several people that made me concerned for my child’s safety and it was just sad. The staff was amazing.

If you want to stay in the circus that is the Fisherman’s Wharf, then this hotel is for you. It’s very touristy and therefore doesn’t have a personal touch. It’s very clean and the restaurant is good for breakfast. When we arrived I wasn’t keen on the unhelpful doormen. No help with luggage. The man at the front desk had the most outstandingly bad breath too!!

The hotel is right on the Aquatic Cove beach and the Maritime Historic Park. It's very convenient. The house keeping staff are super nice and on top of the service. I'll say we stayed in many different hotels. Their house keeping team is so far the best of all.

We had a wonderful stay at the Argonaut. The place is beautiful and the staff was excellent. They did have a problem with the air conditioner but it was fixed promptly and they made it right. Will definitely go back and we highly recommend it.

This is pretty expensive but very convenient location. Parking is high pay $75-$85 per night. We received a handicap assessable room for some reason, even though we did not need it. We were charged for a stuffed seal that we did not take from the room, however, be sure to check your bill.

The reservation was booked as pay at the counter upon arrival, however the hotel would not allow me to cancel the reservation and charged me for 1 night's stay. What is the purpose of booking pay upon arrival if they are not going to allow a cancellation. When I arrived at the hotel to re-book, I was told they were sold out. So they got my money and someone else.

Nice lobby. Friendly and professional staff. Clean, comfortable room. Great location. If you’re a walker you can start at the hotel and do a great urban hike around north SF which IMHO is the best part - Marina, Presidio, Pacific Heights, the wharf, Chrissy Beach, Lands End, etc, and grab a $20 sundae at Ghirardelli when you’re done.
