Instructions were ok, I'd like some clearer markings on the different pin types, not really clear which way round the legs go and I missed the small L & R stickers to begin with as theyre not mentioned in the instructions.Comfortable back pad but does move around somewhat if you need to reposition yourself during exercise. The bench pad is held on by four small bolts attached through the support beam but this does twist under use. Doubt this will last very long under good use.Mine had damaged parts out of the box as shown in the pictures. Not a game changer but does leave a bad experience overall.Stable base for doing dips, feet do not move at all. The folding functionality is great and the bench is very sturdy, sturdier than I expected! The dip handles are a nice touch and add an extra functionality for you to use. Then bench is sleek and looks great and also has its multiple uses and angles to used at.
My only complaint is the narrowness of the rack, it’s right where you’d want to hold the barbell which means that you either have to adopt a wider or narrower grip than normal - not a deal breaker as there’s ways to work around it but can be annoying at times.
Used the bench with 70kg on the bar and I weight 75 myself and didn’t notice any wobbling or creaking!

At under 80 quid you will push yourself to get better value for a bench to match this one. Easy enough to assemble but as mentioned before a ratchet spanner of your own will help massively especially if you are on your own. For a collapsible bench it is surprisingly sturdy with a decent weight to it so it doesn't wobble around like a really cheap one would, you get a little movement of course but nothing to worry about. The safety pins on the stands are a good touch as you can safely change the plates without taking the bar off, always a plus. Some have said the stands are too close together but pretty much all of the fold away benches are the same so just widen your grip a hand width, you get used to it after a short while. Nice and easy to change the bench position and tucks away nice and upright when workout done so all in all a very good purchase especially if your are tight on training space.

Try getting a 5ft bar instead if a 4 foot then you don't have to adjust your hands.

OK, so I almost didn't buy this because of some of the negative reviews which is what's prompted me to make sure I leave my own review.

For context, I'm 5ft 1 and female, which is likely why this product worked for me and not for those who've had a negative experience.

I've lifted weights at home for a few years now but have never had a bench. I'm not a body builder, so I'm not lifting huge weights.

With this in mind, I've found this great. Its the perfect size and given that my shoulders are proportionately narrower than most, I don't have an issue with the hand placement in relation to the rack which is something a few other reviews have mentioned.

For me, at my weight, it's sturdy and well built (which I was able to do easily enough by myself with the instructions provided).

I don't use the incline function at all so I can't comment on how well that works or not, but for a basic bench for use at home it's great. Again, I'm short, I'm female and not lifting huge weights, so bear that in mind.
I could imagine that anyone taller/heavier than me wanting to lift really heavy would perhaps find this a bit small and not as sturdy as they'd like.

In terms of storage, it folds up and is kept in place by a a key/pin (not sure of the term!)

There's also pins to keep the barbell in place when not being used but they're actually narrower than the holes they're supposed to go through, meaning they easily slip back out so again, bear that in mind if safety is a huge concern.

Overal, glad I've purchased but would only recommend if I knew the person buying was similar in weight/size/height.

OK so Ive been using Gyms for 15yrs+, and since lockdown I needed a home bench.

I settled on this one for cost, and availability. Overall, if you want a basic home bench to get started with weights, or maintain where you at then this is a good bench. If you are already lifting heavy and really want to push yourself, then this aint the bench for you.

Im 6.2', 90kgs, and benching 70-100kgs and its all fits / works fine - the hand grip position is the main issue as covered below.

Pros'
- very easy to build, took about 30 mins.
- Sturdy, it doesn't wobble or shake when in use like other home benches I've used.
- Dip handles are a nice addition
- folds away easy to save space
- Quick delivery - was about 10days faster than stated on Amazon.

Cons
- The support bars for holding the barbell, are in the exact place you want to hold the bar, meaning that you have to adjust your grip once you have lifted the bar. This is not great, and prevents you from going to your max weight.
- One of the support bars was damaged - the metal is bent, its only cosmetic, but looks like a factory defect and is a little annoying.
- Overpriced - though not as much as most. With covid 19 all gym equipment costs a bomb now, I have seen similar benches to this online for £150 - £300. Really I would say that this is worth £40-£50 but given the circs, I was happy to pay £80.
- The 'incline' mode is a little poor. Rather than the end of the bench where you head is being raised, you just drop the end of the bench where you but is, meaning you end up half on the floor. Not ideal, however until the gyms reopen it will do for now.

Ultimately it is an average HOME gym bench, that I don't regret buying. However if you are expecting the kind of bench that you use in the gym, this is not it. Dont expect to be lifting more that 100kgs on this... however if you are new to weight lifting then this is a great starting bench.

Just got my package today (2/09/2021). As most people I was excited to build a small home gym.

After I mounted everything I checked the sturdiness and noticed it was wobbly. Weird I thought, started inspecting it and noticed the right leg defective. This is even before I used it.

Now I have to dismount everything and sent it back. Save your money and respect your time, don't buy this.
