    Taboo, the laugh out loud, out-of-your-seat game of forbidden words is back with a fresh new look. In the Taboo game, you need to get your team to guess the secret word, but the obvious clues are strictly off-limits.

    To get your team to say pinball, would you say arcade, game, flippers, tilt or roll? In this game you can't because all of those words are strictly forbidden.

    Get your team to guess as many words as you can while you race against the clock. But watch out; if you say a forbidden word, the other team will "squeak" you and you lose the word!

    Had a brilliant afternoon playing this game today. I was looking for something I could engage my 13 and 15yr olds with and get them off the internet for a few hours, so we played, two teams of two, and it got very heated but was so much fun!
    Two sets of cards with four words/terms to be guessed on each, and a list of associated words that are taboo.
    With the egg timer running one team member has to describe the guess word to his other team member, without accidentally mentioning one of the taboo words, no gesturing, no "sounds like" no mentioning part of the word. If you succeed and the egg timer is still going, grab another card and continue. Then the other team takes their turn.
    We got through one whole set of guess words, which means potentially there's only likely to be 3 more games playable before the set becomes redundant but for the price paid and the amount of fun we had, I think it was well worth it!
