Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun especially from 10 am to 2 pm, wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses, children under 6 months: Ask a doctor

This very effective sunscreen is relatively easy to wash off for a waterproof one. My only gripe is that it is thick and pasty when it comes out of the tube, so it takes a moment to work it into my skin. When you first put it on it looks scary white, but once it dries it does not have any white cast.

I'm 32 & the better part of a decade I've put sunscreen on my face every single day, all year round (I live in Michigan, USA). And after learning that physical, mineral sunscreens provide better protection that's what I buy. I've tried many many sunscreens. This sunscreen is really good and I recommend trying it. The best part is the value. It doesn't seem like a huge bottle but it lasts SOOOO long!!!!! Even using it every day. I've had my bottle for MONTHS!! Still got a little ways to go to before running out.
And yes, *at first* it does leave a bit of white cast. But this isn't an issue for me because if you rub it in good and wait just a couple minutes it's gone. Makes me skin feel super moisturized and soft too. Again as a general rule you should wait a few minutes between skincare and makeup but foundation goes on top of this just fine, zero issues there. Will likely repurchase this when I run out.

I am a very fair complected person and I have used this many times and I haven't gotten a sunburn at all with it. I actually use it daily. If I'm out swimming I reapply several times during the day.
