I’ve read that people say it isn’t easy to shake the drawer to reposition food - chips - I don’t find this a problem and a pair of tongs is great for retrieving the cooked food from the drawer.I also use the ‘Bake’ option quite a lot and the large drawer saves me having to use my main oven as frequently. REALLY WORTH IT!

It's kind of changing your way of eating.
You kind of doing more grilling or air fry of chicken and red meat now accompanied with salad or cooked veg. So, I'm cooking much less pot recipes!

I haven't tried the oven and baking program yet! But I'm excited to get to it.

It's very easy to use and very easy to clean!
It's just a big rectangular bucket that you wash thoroughly with the washing soap and that's it!

OH, using the parchment and foil can be very tricky 'cause the very powerful fan will blow it up and will burn it. So be careful when using these. Or make sure you lay the ingredients on all edges of the foil/parchment. After the experience, I just don't use them because it's quite easy to wash and I'm not bothered by it!

I can only advise you to invest in it, it's worth it financially, time wise and health wise!

Very impressed at the capability of this machine, not only looks good but results have so far been excellent. Have cooked everything from usual chips, scampi etc to chicken kebabs, steak, fish and tomorrow will be doing Sunday roast. Grilled bacon is best ever in this machine. I have already saved on electric bill and this kit will no doubt pay for itself in no time at all. It comes with a concise cookery book and also all the info you need to work out your own recipes. I've been late to the Air fryer party, mainly because i've seen too many epic fails online and I was resisting conformity for no rational reason. But due to recenly becoming more health conscious, I've been looking for alternative ways to cook healthier versions of the tasty fried foods we like with a lot less oil. So I bit the the proverbial bullet and just hurled myself onto the bandwagon. I am generally quite pleased with my purchase.

First thing I would say is that it is pretty powerful/heats up quickly which can be a blessing and a curse. It has taken a bit of getting used to balance the amounts of food vs cooking temp and time ratio without over/under cooking. The guide is a starting point to get the settings right but is not foolproof and yes I have carbonized a number of things (chips became wingnut-esque). However when you practice and start to "trust" it a bit (check/rotate through the cook) you can whip up meals mid week that you would probably only have time to do on the weekend with conventional methods. I don't use the dual function too much, I cook more in the giant "megazone" and bought this model mainly for the bigger draw size so that there is space for the air to circulate, rather than trying too cram too much food in a small space which leads to uneven cooking. Only thing I miss from this model is being able to just take out the draw and shake contents which you can do more easily with single/small draw models, so I may get another smaller one for that reason if I manage to magic up some some counter space somehow.

Finally, this was on a deal when I bought it so I feel I got good value for money. I think Ninja makes quality stuff.

One you get the hang of how to cook in it you can get some lovely results. Does a lovely frozen croissant. If you want to do a whole family meal, even with it's maxi size, you'll be cooking in batches tho. It's the perfect size for a full roast for two people. Also great as extra capacity when doing a big dinner, I struggle with space for Yorkshire's in my single oven if having family for a roast, so this is great as overspill capacity. Haven't experimented with the bake and prove functions yet. Would recommend.
