Forget tia Maria, of kahlua, this is a proper coffee liqueur. The others, are way too sweet and sugary, this has a much stronger coffee flavour and less sweet. If you're a fan of black Russian then this is a treat.

There's a very good, dark coffee flavour to this. It would go great in most cocktails, like espresso martinis. But I bought this as a fan of white russians, and fellow fans should know that there's an acidity in here that will curdle any cream you might use. It also has a sediment to it that looks unpleasant, if you're bothered by floaters in your drink. It's a good product, just take care what you use it for.

This is a truly marvelous beverage. Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with the majority of the comments related to the espresso martini, it must be said that this makes a Black Russian fit for Hades himself. I've previously used Kahluha and Tia Maria, Mr Black has spoiled me. This is the best coffee liqueur that I have come across, especially as somebody that appreciates the less sweet side of coffee. Do not be put off by the price, you really do get what you pay for. Once you have tried it, you will accept no substitutes. A lady I know makes a mocha ice cream sauce with this that defies belief and sadly will not give up the full recipe.
