Change of backing from 3M
So these are no doubt fantastic lights, we’ve purchased 3 in total over the years and they really add atmosphere to our living room.My only gripe is not the actually product itself but a change to the sticky backing to the lights. Both my previous lights had a 3M backing, however these new ones seem to be non branded and are actually awful at sticking. It’s already started to peel off, which is highly disappointing for a pretty expensive product and well branded name.Is this a one off or had Phillips moved to a cheaper alternative to cut costs? I might write of to Phillips directly as ask them, as its quite sad that I have to tape them to the skirting board!!

I managed to get these lights for only £60 thanks to an Amazon voucher I had lying around, and I’m so happy I went for it!
The colours are so bright, and vary between 1200 - 1800 lumen. The pictures don’t do it justice! You can replace two bedside lamps in a bedroom with the strip alone. There’s an amazing variety of colours in the app and presets to choose from.
You need the Hue bridge to take advantage of the full suite of features such as being able to set a timer for the lights to turn on when you wake up, something I use every day.
