Birdcage Bridge was a former steel lattice railway viaduct, which was built in the late 1890s, and carried the former Great Central Main Line over the West Coast Main Line at Rugby, the GCML was closed in 1969, however the viaduct itself survived until it was demolished in 2006/2007.
