Take a note from credit karma

Experian is very subpar. My credit score that is displayed when I first open the app is never accurate; I even have alerts in the app that say my supposed current score(cause it’s always different from my other two scores) yet the score displayed is still old by over three months once. Also, this score fluctuates A LOT for no reason. Compared to my Transunion and equifax scores that I monitor on credit karma, that is always reflected accurately and quickly after any changes, this score drops all the time for no reason, and there is no reason stated and I haven’t done anything risky besides pay my bills, and there is no way to find out. Whereas, in credit karma it tells you exactly what changed, when something actually does change in my life like I’m reducing balances paying bills or applying for cards etc., and why it changed and it is very easy to find. Also boost so far is misleading. I added a phone bill and it boosted my score 6 points, then just as quickly dropped my score 6 points because I added a new credit account to my profile.

Experian SMARTMONEY

I do not recommend for using Experian as a bank account for using their checking account! I’ve had nothing, but issues you call customer service you get transferred a million time only supervisors can communicate everyone else act like robots. I’m tryna access my virtual card online or by app, but due to me not having access to the phone number on file I tried to update my phone number then I get someone that tells me that it takes 5-7 days to get my phone number updated. I’m currently without a car becus I can not access the virtual card to pay my bills online my car dealership will cut you off if you can’t pay car payment & insurance which are both currently due, but since I can not access the virtual card to see my 16 card digits I have to wait until my new card to arrive in the mail to pay my bills. I just got off the phone to be escalated to a supervisor & I was told they’re gone for the day. I’ve been doing call center work for 6years a supervisor is ALWAYS available or a lead. This is very inconvenient for me as I do not have access to the virtual card to pay bills nor is customer service is of any service to help. By reading other reviews I see that Experian is not offering their full services by paying for membership they’re getting false information as their credit scores which I was interested in upgrading my membership but per reviews I will keep my free membership.

Hmm I’m Beginning To Wonder

I’ve been using the Experian app for quite sometime now. I was glad when things were found incorrect on my personal information on my credit report. It was great to get them cleared up.
Here’s my BIGGEST CON… I called Experian regarding issues with their Boost issues regarding to my account. In the Boost several of my utility bills were left out though I’ve been using these utilities for over 5+ years. My auto and homeowners was left out as well. Sure the Boost picked up the VERY OLD INSURANCE COMPANIES WE WERE USING BUT COULD NOT FIND THE NEW ONES? We have been with the new insurance companies for over 6 months making automatic monthly payments. WHAT MORE DOES EXPERIAN WANT?
I called Experian regarding this issue and guess what their answer was???? A BIG HANG UP!!!! NOTHING GOT RESOLVED… NOTHING - ZIP - NADA!! This now really leaves a BAD taste in my mouth.
Calling back is out of the question. For what…wait another 45 minutes for someone to transfer me to someone else then to someone else again? And the worse part is I could barely understand these people with their heavy accent. I blame Experian for all of this. Certainly not their employees.
Experian hires the cheapest people they can find and we as the consumer pay for it. Experian should learn some great customer service skills from a great company like Apple. Keep jobs here and with people whom we can understand…
