Ingredients
Yield:About 1½ cups
- 1egg yolk
- 2teaspoons no-salt mustard
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1tablespoon red-wine vinegar
- ¼teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1cup corn, peanut or vegetable oil
- ¼cup finely minced onion
- 2tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 2tablespoons finely chopped bottled no-salt sweet peppers
- 1tablespoon finely chopped bottled no-salt hot cherry peppers
- 1tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil
- 1hard-cooked egg, put through fine sieve
Preparation
- Step 1
Put yolk in mixing bowl and add mustard, pepper, vinegar and Tabasco. Start beating briskly while adding oil. Beat briskly until all oil is added.
- Step 2
Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
