LA native Danny Goliger returns to Scuffed Recordings with three new percussion-led club tools on his Push n’ Pull EP.

Push n’ Pull marks the third EP from Danny Goliger on London-based label Scuffed Recordings, following on from 2023’s What I Tell Ya?, which saw support from the likes of A-Trak, Jubilee, and Jamz Supernova, and his collab Sticky Rice EP alongside Justin Jay, and Nikki Nair collab ‘I Like Millions’. Danny has also released on labels like Dirtybird, Club Designs, and Teethy, as well as holding down a residency on LA’s Dublab radio.

Produced at his studio in LA on a combination of analogue synths and drum machines alongside a digital setup, the EP’s three tracks explore a spectrum of sounds, most notably drawing on techno and bass music combined with rhythms from around the world. The EP is further influenced by LA’s warehouse scene, which Danny describes as ‘a vibrant hub of music from all over the world’, and a ‘bastion of DIY rave culture’.

From opener ‘Calibrate’ through to the title track and closer ‘Ozzza’, Danny builds on the sound he has established on previous releases, with lilting, syncopated rhythms the order of the day, making for a release of club-ready rollers that will slip effortlessly into DJ sets.
