Dr. Ding will facilitate labor market research at the Data Science Academy. She will help raise and answer research questions related to real-time labor market analytics (RT LMA), job market needs and trends, program review and development, curriculum updates, and workforce development by collaborating with academic researchers and administrators, workforce agencies, K-12 educators, and government and/or industry partners. These research and training efforts will help disseminate data-driven solutions in academic programs, workforce development communities, and student service providers. These labor analytics initiatives aim to promote student success, career and learning pathway mapping, better curriculum-work connections, and data-informed program development decisions to help prepare NC State for a quickly changing labor market.
