Did you know that our company founder Robert Bosch was a strong advocate for nurturing talent and providing comprehensive training for apprentices? 🤔 When he founded the company, he personally looked after the apprentice in his workshop, giving challenging tasks and, once he deemed the apprentice ready, also allowing customer visits to be done autonomously. 💪 As the company expanded, he opened a dedicated training workshop in Feuerbach, Germany, in 1913, offering a multifaceted and systematic education for a larger number of apprentices, with places highly coveted and the Bosch certificate considered very reputable. To this day, we continue to uphold his legacy by encouraging learning and providing versatile training for young talent in various fields. Designed specifically for the racetrack, the race eCBS system enhances braking stability and cornering precision, helping riders achieve faster lap times. 🏍️💨 It continuously monitors front brake pressure, lean angle, side-slip angle, and rear-wheel slip 100 times per second to optimize rear brake pressure for effective braking and vehicle stability. The system was recently presented on the Ducati Panigale V4 at the World Ducati Week 2024 in Misano, Italy, marking another milestone in our 15-year partnership with Ducati. We are continuing our growth course with a strategic acquisition: For our Energy and Building Technology business sector, the Bosch Group plans to take over the global HVAC solutions business for residential and light commercial buildings from Johnson Controls. As part of this transaction, we also intend to acquire 100 percent of the Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture, including Hitachi's 40 percent stake. 💬 "As the biggest acquisition in Bosch history, this is an important milestone in the systematic implementation of our strategy for 2030. We are dynamically pushing ahead with the strong development of Bosch, and will achieve a globally leading position in the promising HVAC market with this acquisition," says Bosch chairman Stefan Hartung. 💬 Bosch deputy chairman Christian Fischer adds: "With this acquisition, Bosch will accelerate its growth and nearly double its sales revenue in the HVAC market to roughly 9 billion euros. Together with our future colleagues, we want to seize the huge opportunities offered by the market for the further growth of this new unit." 💬 "It is Bosch's aim to play an active part in shaping the innovative and growing market for energy and building technology, and to occupy a globally leading position. With this acquisition, we are improving our position, especially in air conditioning. One of its first members, Janos, says that being part of the club is not just about riding; it's about learning, improving, and being part of a community. The club provides exciting tours organized by members, including local day trips and adventures in various international locations. It also offers annual motorbike handling training led by experts, covering essential skills such as emergency braking and accident avoidance, along with safety initiatives including airbag vest demonstrations, first aid training, and sessions on motorbike physiology. The Motorbiker’s Club is part of Bosch Hungary's diverse culture and leisure program, featuring around 25 different activities and communities.
