We've successfully completed a 2-day training on the 𝗗𝟴 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 at IIT Madras' Chemistry Department, marking our 5th SCD installation there. And there’s still more to come – we have one more D8 QUEST just waiting to get installed! The D8 VENTURE, alongside the 15-year-old SMART KAPPA APEX diffractometer, is mainly used by Prof. T Pradeep and Prof. Dillip Kumar Chand's research groups. The training, which covered data collection and processing using 𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗫, was well-received. A highlight was the successful data collection of an Ag Cu metal nano cluster, bringing joy to the student who finally solved her crystal structure. Swipe through the photos to relive this exciting day. Interested in learning more about the D8 VENTURE? We recently held a successful two-day workshop together with 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, in Thailand. With 65 participants from various institutes in Bangkok, Professors Khetpakorn Chakarawet and Teera Chantarojsiri shared their expertise on Crystallography and crystal growth. Participants gained hands-on experience with 𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗫𝟱 software and watched a live demonstration of the 𝗗𝟴 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 system. We're pleased to share that our customer at Mahidol University expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the D8 QUEST and the support they received. Special thanks to Nui and Worawut for their contributions. Looking forward to more such events! In the meantime, get to know the D8 QUEST here: https://okt.to/Ah7r4H #BrukerAXS #SCXRD #D8QUEST #APEX5 #Crystallography #Training

Introducing our first D6 PHASER for diamond applications at Lexus Softmac in Surat, India. This equipment provides precise and fast measurements of the degree of miscut in diamond substrates in the production of lab-grown diamonds. This crucial parameter influences the crystal quality, optical properties, and mechanical stability of the diamonds. The accurate measurement and subsequent correction of miscuts enhance growth efficiency, reduce defects, and improve the overall quality and cost-effectiveness of the production process. We can’t wait to hear the updates about this equipment’s performance! In the meantime, get to know all about the D6 PHASER here: https://okt.to/wc9CsY #BrukerAXS #XRD #D6PHASER #DiamondIndustry

Battery technology lies at the heart of the transition to sustainable energy and continues to develop at a rapid pace. The quest for ever higher energy densities requires optimization of current and next gen cell designs at the microscopic and macroscopic level. X-Ray Microscopy (XRM) can help you in this pursuit, as it provides a 3D internal view of precursor materials, individual battery cell components and assembled battery cells at both levels without the need for physical sectioning. The example below illustrates the power of XRM for visualizing and analyzing a CAM foil with our 3D.SUITE software. Discover all the Clean Energy Applications of XRM in our brand-new flyer: https://okt.to/S9hTnB #BrukerAXS #XRM #BatteryResearch #CleanEnergy

Our team had the pleasure of visiting Thailand for a two-day workshop, held in collaboration with Thammasat University. The event was hosted by Dr. Kittipong Chainok, who has been a dedicated user of the Bruker 𝗗𝟴 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 at the University for the past decade. The workshop, delivered by our colleague Prathapa S. Jagannatha, centered around Single-Crystal Diffraction, with a special focus on the innovative features of the APEX5. Participants also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the CIRRUS, learn about handling twins using auto detwinning and managing disordered structures through DSR. We were delighted to have attendees from many different institutes across Thailand! We look forward to more such collaborative events in the future. Thank you to all who participated! 🎉 We're thrilled to celebrate a quarter-century of innovation and partnership with the Materials Center Leoben Forschung GmbH (MCL) in Austria. One big moment to remember in our collaboration was the publicly funded joint project, “Development of New Components for X-ray Diffraction and a Novel (GI)SAXS Instrument” in 2009. This initiative sparked innovation in small-angle scattering instrumentation and led to the creation of two products: the NANOSTAR and the N8 HORIZON. Today, MCL's XRD lab houses five of our instruments. The latest addition, the high-end D8 DISCOVER PLUS, offers more precision and flexibility, catering to MCL’s broad range of applications from microelectronics to classic steel research. You can actually see it in the picture with Dr. Stefan Marsoner from MCL and Gerald Weinacht from our team! Dive into the full story to learn more about our journey and MCL’s projects and exciting plans for the future: https://okt.to/gcR6FN Here's to pushing the boundaries of material research for many more years to come! #BrukerAXS #MCL #Innovation #MaterialsResearch #Partnership #XRD
