    „Ich bin zum ersten Mal mitgelaufen und durfte die BSH als Teamkapitän anführen. Die Vorbereitung und auch der Lauf haben mir sehr großen Spaß gemacht. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass der Teamgeist bei der BSH stimmt und wir tolle Kolleg:innen haben.“ Das war Teamkapitän Carstens Eindruck des Laufevents. Die BSH war mit rund 200 Kolleginnen und Kollegen wieder beim Firmenlauf B2RUN 2024 am Start. Neben dem Fun-Faktor und dem Gemeinschaftsgefühl wurde auch aus sportlicher Sicht einiges geboten. Tamara, die schnellste BSH-Läuferin, lief die 5,6 km Kilometer lange Strecke rund um das Olympia Stadion in 25,34 Minuten, in der männlichen Wertung war Thanh mit einer Zeit von 21,10 Minuten für die BSH am schnellsten unterwegs!     What do our colleagues say about their work at BSH? To offer an insight into the working world of our design teams, we are putting Ralf Grobleben, Head of Design at NEFF Home Appliances, in the spotlight today. He describes what makes a good design in his eyes and explains the overarching brand strategy pursued by the design teams at BSH.    𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂? Let us take a look at the kitchen, for instance, where NEFF has a complete product family. Accordingly, it is important to us to give consumers pleasure in using all appliances by designing details that appear logical, sometimes magical. Good design is not about surface cosmetics, it adds meaning to a product.  𝗔𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀?   While in design projects people often work with individual personas, at BSH we pursue an overarching model. We address different target groups with our entire brand portfolio. We assign the brands to groups with certain characteristics and preferences that go beyond a persona. This is the perfect basis for our design teams to work out the details. The results of recent years have shown that we are clearly differentiated and address the entire market with our brands.    𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁: 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁?  At a time when physical objects are increasingly taking a back seat, I think haptic elements like the NEFF Twist Pad Flex® are a wonderful thing.   On the one hand, the Twist Pad Flex® offers technical features, but it is also simply fun to operate the appliances with it.

    Our one-year trainee program prepares our Global Graduates (GGs) thoroughly for their future careers in #TeamBSH. Besides working at three different BSH locations, they get the chance to strengthen their business acumen working on the Business Challenge. Our BSH Start-Up BlueMovement gave the GGs the exciting task to redesign the brand experience to make it more attractive to Gen Z. With its approach to rent high-quality Bosch and Siemens home appliances instead of owning, BlueMovement already picks up on the Gen Z preferences. But how to engage the Gen Zers more with this offer? Our Graduates identified the persona “Emily” and created brilliant content ideas for a multichannel advertising campaign. They also tested different product, service, and pricing strategies to make Emily’s BlueMovement experience even more appealing. Graduate Ana Frklić was on the BlueMovement project and really appreciated working in a diverse team and learning from each other. Our aim is to harmonize elegant design and intelligent functions.     The modern kitchen has established itself as the heart of the home. Therefore, it has to be multifunctional and flexible.      Good design takes up this idea and focuses on the intuitive use of appliances that make everyday life easier and more enjoyable for our consumers.    For example, we have implemented this approach in the new iQ700 oven generation from Siemens.     What a great start at the IFA Kick-off 2024 at Bikini Berlin! 🎉 Over the course of two days, we presented our pioneering technologies and visions together with leading innovators and partners.     Having to hide who you are can be extremely exhausting. That is why #TeamBSH fosters a culture that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion. By doing this, we create a safe work environment, where every individual can be their true selves and thrive. During our Diversity Days, Víctor Lorenzo and FRANCK OLIVES, core members of our LGBTQ+ employee network "Colors of BSH", hosted the session "Being Me at Work." Their goal was to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community and cultivate allyship and openness among colleagues. 🌈 They shared actions that individuals can take to embrace their authentic selves at the workplace, such as coming out to trusted colleagues or mentioning their partner when discussing their leisure. Allies are crucial in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, standing in solidarity with them. Being an ally is an ongoing process of learning, challenging biases, and taking action. However, it is easy to start like the tips in our video show. Let’s all contribute to a more inclusive (work) environment! #Diversity #Pride #Inclusivity #DEI
