Carlsquare advised DemoUp Cliplister on its sale to E-Commerce Software Group, a portfolio company of Bregal Unternehmerkapital   Berlin-based DemoUp Cliplister is a leading provider of SaaS solutions for the syndication and management of digital product content.   Bregal Unternehmerkapital is the largest MidCap investor headquartered in the DACH region. Its E-Commerce Software Group was established last year following the acquisition of Billbee, a transaction on which Carlsquare acted as sell-side advisor.   The E-Commerce Software Group unites multichannel software provider Billbee, tax and invoicing tool Amazervice, goods management system VentoryOne and product data management tool Channel Pilot. Carlsquare advised global energy leader VARO Energy on the agreed sale of its German subsidiary VARO Energy Direct to HOYER SE. VARO Energy Direct supplies heating oil, diesel, and gasoline to end consumers and commercial customers in the industrial and agricultural sectors via 34 public retail stations, 21 private fleet stations, and a terminal in Emmerich. VARO, a private company owned by The Carlyle Group (66.66%) and Vitol (33.33%), is headquartered in Switzerland and provides both conventional and sustainable energy solutions across 26 countries. Hoyer is one of the largest family-owned companies in the German energy sector. Pending regulatory approval, the transaction is expected to close by the end of the year. 🚨 Carlsquare Global Tech Summit Keynote 🚨   We are delighted to announce that Dave Monahan, CEO of dental membership market leader Kleer and Membersy, will deliver the keynote at our upcoming Global Tech Summit in Napa Valley.   Dave has spent his career creating technology-enabled businesses that improve people’s lives. He built Kleer into the leading dental membership plan solution for solo, group, and DSO practices, and oversaw the merger with Membersy that gave birth to the national leader in the dental subscription market.   Prior to founding Kleer, Dave spent a decade as CEO of FitLinxx, designing and manufacturing award-winning wearable health and fitness devices. Under his stewardship, the firm grew into a leader of the wearables market and was acquired by listed health diagnostic company LumiraDX which was subsequently acquired by Roche.
