Crafting a vision that truly captures the essence of who we are and where we want to go is no small feat. A company’s vision isn't just a statement—it’s a guiding star that aligns our purpose, drives our actions, and pushes us forward even when the road is challenging. After many deep conversations, we realised that our vision needed to reflect more than our ambitions—it had to resonate with the impact we want to create in the world. The result? A vision of positive and meaningful action for all. 🌍✨ Getting here wasn’t easy. It required tough questions, honest reflections, and a shared commitment to living out our values. But we stand by this vision because it reflects the heart of our mission: developing innovative projects that empower communities while driving positive environmental and social change. We’re excited about the journey ahead and the purpose this vision will keep bringing into focus. What's your vision for the future world? Tell us in the comments! #CompanyVision #PurposeDriven #CollectiveImpact #Sustainability #InnovationForGood

Ever wondered what makes us different from other project developers? You’re not alone. Here’s what we tell our clients.   Q: What makes ClimatePartner Impact different from other project developers? 🕵️ We are developers ourselves We hire and cultivate international teams of in-house experts. Rather than outsourcing, we have our own project development team, earth observation team, carbon market analysts, and impact reporting team. That means we develop, monitor, and analyze projects from start to finish. 📈 We invest in our projects In most cases, we pre-invest in our projects to get them off the ground before offering them to our financial and corporate investors. This lowers the investment risk for our clients and provides a shorter timeline for carbon credit issuance. 🍎 We make project development accessible Companies have different needs and goals. We provide a diverse portfolio of projects that are scalable to the various needs of our clients and do our best to find a solution for both large-scale and small-scale sustainability goals. 🤝 We go beyond carbon Our core mission is to develop innovative projects with positive environmental and social impacts that empower communities. We focus on people and how we can co-create with local communities to create lasting change. 🔎 We are radically transparent We share line-by-line project costs so our clients can see exactly how their investment is used. We also provide professional, transparent reporting on project activities. 📢 Tell us your experience! What’s important to you when looking for project developer partners? Social impact projects: Engaging in climate action while improving the daily lives of people 🏡 Whether it’s smoke pollution, deforestation from gathering wood, or contaminated water, there are technologies to solve these problems that can improve the lives of millions of people around the world. Improved cookstoves, water filters, and solar lamps are simple yet effective methods to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases released while also benefiting the health and environment of local communities. 🌍 Interested in learning more and getting involved? 👉 https://lnkd.in/emUz48Kk #socialimpact #climateaction #ClimatePartner

We offer a diverse range of projects that focus on both carbon removal and social impact. Every project we offer has a component that contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving our core mission. Our projects include: 🌿 Nature-based solutions (NbS) Trees and plants remove carbon from the atmosphere. Project types such as reforestation, blue carbon, and soil organic carbon leverage this removal strategy. A good example of an NbS project would be our Rwanda Bamboo River Restoration project, which you can see here: https://lnkd.in/dWpvN8ZS 👯 Social impact focused These projects prioritize a social need through improved cookstove technology, improved clean water access, renewable energy, and small biogas plants. A good example of this project type would be our Garo Hills Improved Cookstoves project in India, which you can see here: https://lnkd.in/d4zZVW7C 💦 Other innovative projects These projects explore unique and creative ways to tackle environmental issues. They include plastic upcycling, biodiversity, renewable energy, and biochar. A good example of this project type would be our Kenya and Malawi Soil Restoration project, which is a biochar project that produces significant social and environmental benefits. With our diverse and scalable portfolio, we are well equipped to support corporations in their climate action journey. What type of projects would you like to know more about? As we talk with prospective and current clients, we answer many questions from topics like the voluntary carbon market all the way to the growth rates of bamboo. In this new series, we share some of the most frequently asked questions, answered by our experts, providing you with information you can rely on.    Have a question of your own? Leave it in the comments section below, or send us a message here: https://lnkd.in/dumXWMYT Q: Why do we focus on Nature-based Solutions? 🌱 A: The term ‘Nature-based Solutions’ (NbS) refers to projects which restore, protect and sustainably manage natural ecosystems. Trees and plants remove carbon from the atmosphere and are a key component to addressing rising CO2 levels that drive climate change. Project types such as reforestation, blue carbon, and soil organic carbon leverage this removal strategy. Compared to other carbon reduction or removal strategies such as technological solutions (like direct air capture), NbS projects can be relatively inexpensive, scalable, and can provide multiple co-benefits. These additional benefits include things like biodiversity conservation, improved health in vulnerable populations, poverty eradication, food and water security, and other Sustainable Development Goals. However, the current rate of funding is nowhere near enough. According to the recent State of Finance for Nature report*, financial flows towards activities that directly harm nature are thirty times higher than financial flows towards Nature-based Solution projects. This means that finance flows to Nature-based Solutions must dramatically increase to have a chance of addressing climate change and to meet Sustainable Development Goals. We at ClimatePartner Impact are dedicated to making positive environmental and social impacts that empower communities. It’s in our mission statement! Therefore, we will continue to put our energy into development of NbS projects, both for the well-being of our planet and the people in it. Join us at ClimatePartner Impact in making a positive, meaningful change! 🌲🌳🌍 *Source: https://lnkd.in/dw8KWJhr #Sustainability #CarbonSequestration #Afforestation #Reforestation #ClimateAction #GreenFuture #ClimatePartnerImpact #Naturebasedsolutions

As we talk with prospective and current clients, we answer many questions from topics like the voluntary carbon market all the way to the growth rates of bamboo. In this new series, we share some of the most frequently asked questions, answered by our experts, providing you with information you can rely on.   Q: Why do we focus on project development outside of Europe?   A:While we do develop projects in Europe, we focus most of our project development efforts in Africa and South Asia, because:   📈 Higher impact on emissions In many places, people are dependent on older, energy-intensive technologies due to lack of resources and funding. By investing in these areas, significant reductions in carbon emissions can be achieved while lifting baseline access to technologies. 💸 Cost-effective projects Lower costs for project implementation mean that we have the opportunity to enable positive environmental and social impacts at scale. One dollar or euro goes further in the regions we develop projects.    💪 Empowering communities Climate change often affects regions that contribute the least to carbon emissions. These communities benefit from climate projects through social, economic, and environmental impacts, helping them become resilient and empowered.   ✅ Additionality Carbon credits must come from projects that are ‘additional’. This refers to the principle that a project results in positive environmental changes that otherwise would not have occurred without intervention. The infrastructure and possibilities for climate projects are higher in the Eurozone due to grants and other funding opportunities, whereas other regions lack that support. Therefore, additionality is much easier to establish.   Have a question of your own? Leave it in the comments section below, or send us a message!   #additionality #CPImpact #beyondcarbon
