We've had a lot of new followers join us over the last six months, so whether you followed from liking a video, one of our essays or you met us at a trade show; we thought we'd say "Thank you!" and answer a simple universal question: Who are we? We are #DCUBED, a #newspace company forged by Thomas Sinn out of problem solving and "there has got to be a better way!" By collecting the right people on our teams, who are driven to change the industry, we are empowering your missions to go to space faster, easier and less expensively, with less risk. Today, we are practically on every flight going to the stars, whether it's space release actuators, space solar arrays and/or deployables like our space selfie stick. Our release actuators are resettable up to hundreds of times, allowing you to "Test as you fly and fly as you test" methodology. Our turnaround times on our products are weeks, not months or years. Design teams realize their vision faster. Test teams can test to their hearts' content, reducing mission risk. If you haven't looked at our products yet, check them out here: https://lnkd.in/eV3b8Uks If you'd like to collaborate on helping your mission get to - and Do Big Things In Space - faster, easier and less expensively, DM Markus Geiss or Valentina Luchetti! https://lnkd.in/gedtYEbX

It was today in 1958 that the NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Act) bill was signed into law by United States President Eisenhower. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration would officially open for business Oct. 1, 1958 later that year and play a large role in world events that have led us to today. The #newspace industry is a direct result, and along with the European Space Agency - ESA, the two juggernauts have continued to inspire and push thousands of people to Do Big Things In Space! #DCUBED #DCUBEDspace #spacehistory #themoreyouknow image courtesy the NASA website - Eisenhower signing the NASA bill into law on July 29, 1958. We are over the Moon that DCUBED was selected as one of the 68 #innovative companies under European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) #eicAccelerator! The total EU contribution of 9,5M€ for our project ISM4Europe will help to bring In-Space Manufaturing into space and into our products. In-space manufacturing (ISM) is the key for overcoming the "tyranny of launch", i.e., the restrictions that all space (sub)systems are pre-built on Earth and thus must be made to withstand the extreme mechanical loads at the launch of the rocket all while fitting into tight volumetric restrictions. ISM will save material and circumvent the limits in dimensions and mass. DCUBED leverages ISM for making solar arrays to satisfy increasingly high power demands at a fraction of the cost of conventional solar array.
