Key aspects of the circular economy are integrated into our Ecodesign Guideline, which was developed by a dedicated think tank. We are thrilled to announce that Körber has signed an agreement to acquire MercuryGate International, a leading provider of transportation management systems. 🙌 This acquisition marks a major milestone in our journey to become the customers’ first choice for supply chain software solutions. With MercuryGate’s addition to our portfolio, we will be able to integrate omnichannel commerce, warehouse fulfillment, and transportation software systems from one source. MercuryGate will fully integrate into Körber Supply Chain Software, a joint venture between Körber and KKR. We are happy to announce that Körber has closed the agreement with Valmet to further advance our digital solution FactoryPal, a unique software that improves shopfloor manufacturing performance and productivity. FactoryPal empowers mill teams to achieve seamless operations by generating and utilizing high quality data combined with state-of-the-art user experience and advanced artificial intelligence. Acting as an AI copilot, FactoryPal leverages data and AI to optimize many aspects of production in the tissue industry and beyond. Christian Schloegel, Körber Group Executive Board Member and responsible for the Business Area Körber Digital, states: 🗯 “We are very proud of the successful development of FactoryPal as one of Körber’s digital ventures so far. The agreement with Valmet will open addional market and growth opportunities”.
