Info
We do not just develop and deliver innovative medicines. We bring together ambitious, collaborative and courageous people who are committed to finding ways to treat cancer differently. MorphoSys began as a research and development technology provider 30 years ago, which positioned us as a valuable partner to pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide. This empowered our evolution into a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company, and our growth over the past 15 years can only be attributed to the dedicated and passionate people driving our mission forward: More life for people with cancer. MOR Pride, our #LGBTQ+ employee network, empowers colleagues to be their most authentic selves at work. As we close out Pride Month, Thomas Biegi, our SVP and Head of Corporate Affairs – and founding member of MOR Pride – shares practical tips for building strong workplace communities and highlights the business benefits of championing equal opportunities for all. Special thanks to our other founding members – Robert Mayer, Frank Reetz, Maren Kähler, Sergej Ramusovic and Doris Schwab – for their continued commitment and support. Happy Pride! #PrideMonth #Pride #LGBTQ #Diversity #Inclusion
For me, coming out as a gay man at work was a pivotal moment in my personal life and career. As I’ve taken on more leadership roles since then, I’ve found it essential to help others feel supported, too. Alongside my peers, I’ve had the great privilege of establishing LGBTQ+ networks that champion equal opportunities for all, and have been able to witness their positive impacts firsthand. Strong employee resource groups in the workplace should be the norm, not the exception, and I’m glad to see more organizations establishing and embracing them. Read on for my advice on implementing and strengthening community networks in your workplace. #PrideMonth #Pride #LGBTQ #Diversity #Inclusion

On #NationalCancerSurvivorsDay, we’re reminded of the crucial need to advocate for #myelofibrosis patients through diagnosis, treatment and beyond. Through our Myelofibrosis Patient and Caregiver Insights Council, we hear directly from people impacted by the disease, like Vincenza. Their stories help us understand their experiences inside and out, so we can better support them. #NCSD2024 #CelebrateLife

This week, we had the privilege of visiting American Cancer Society's Boston Hope Lodge to serve lunch to the #cancer patients and caregivers who currently call it home. Many patients across the country travel long distances to access quality cancer care. Hope Lodges nationwide aim to bridge this gap, offering patients an opportunity to reside much closer to their care team during treatment in a relaxing and community environment that looks and feels like home. A big thank you to Hope Lodge Boston for opening their doors to our team and for the unwavering support they provide each day. #MorphoSysMoments
