It's an honor, and I'm very happy to return as a board member of the Music Cities Network as of today :) Around 7 years ago, Jesper Mardahl (Aarhus), Hugh Nichols (Sydney), and I founded the network. For 5 years, Hamburg Music was its carrier, and together with Katja Hermes, Shain Shapiro PhD, and the member cities, we developed it until it could finally stand on its own feet in January '22. Ever since I can remember, Lena Ingwersen has managed the project ❤️ I'm really excited to see the network growing, organizing great projects, and facilitating the best kind of knowledge exchange between dedicated music cities. In other words, it is exactly what we wanted it to be!
