    Munich summer nights, frisbees and towels – what do they have in common with us and the way we work at Oscar Bravo? 🤔 Our recent summer team bonding evening in Munich was more than just enjoying snacks and drinks under the sun – it was a valuable opportunity to deepen our collaboration and strengthen the skills that drive us at Oscar Bravo. As part of our commitment to embrace togetherness, we organized a series of thoughtfully designed games that not only strengthened our team bonds, but also sharpened the key skills we rely on every day. Each of the games we played served as metaphors for our business and the way we work together. We challenged each other in these games and ways: Viking Chess 🏰: A strategic challenge that reflects the planning and foresight essential to our business.     🌈 Oscars at Frankfurt Pride: "Wir Sind Extrem – Liebevoll!"    At Oscar Bravo, our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and togetherness is an enduring value that goes far beyond just a couple of Pride Parades. We believe that promoting diversity is not only needed for one month, but a continuous journey where every day offers an opportunity to celebrate our differences and build a stronger, more inclusive world.    On August 10th, we were thrilled to join the parade at CSD Frankfurt under the powerful motto "Wir Sind Extrem – Liebevoll!" 🌟 Julia, our content creator, and Svenja, our working student, captured the energy and joy of the Lufthansa Group Diversifly community through video and photo content to showcase Lufthansa’s efforts in spreading color, love, and aiming for a more inclusive future across their social media channels.    Reflecting on her first production experience, Svenja shared, “The day was a lot of fun with a fantastic atmosphere, and being part of such an inclusive event was incredibly rewarding. It was my first time on a production, and I loved the challenge of capturing the vibrant moments while interacting with the crowd.     Nice to meet you, Lufthansa Young Network! 👋 A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting the Munich-based members of the Lufthansa Young Network (LYN) at our Oscar Bravo office!   The evening started with a short presentation where we introduced ourselves and gave an insight into our work at Oscar Bravo. In turn, LYN members shared more about their dynamic network and the events they organize across the Lufthansa Group.  We then headed to the rooftop of the House of Communication for an evening of networking, snacks, drinks and a beautiful Munich sunset. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues from different parts of the organization in a relaxed setting.  ℹ️ For those who don't know the network:  The Lufthansa Young Network (LYN) is all about connecting colleagues worldwide and exploring the many facets of the Lufthansa Group. They regularly organize both remote and in-person events that provide a great platform for networking and learning in different departments - this time we had the privilege to be the chosen ones. 🤩 LYN events are open to anyone within the Lufthansa Group, whether they want to meet new colleagues or discover different areas of the business. Events are held in different cities such as Cologne, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich, with Zurich and Vienna hosting their own networks (SYN and AYN).     Thanks to Isabell Stutzenberger for organizing and to the whole group for choosing our office for this wonderful get-together.     Oscars Lounge with Soraia & Elena: Unpacking the Power of Social Listening 🎧  Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic session in our Oscars Lounge featuring Soraia Tabatabai, PhD from Brandwatch and our Performance Marketing Manager Elena Benevento. Together, they provided an insightful introduction to the world of social listening – guiding us from theory to practice. 🌐    The session kicked off with an overview of social listening, exploring what it is, the sources it taps into, and the challenges it presents. Social listening, also known as social media listening, is about monitoring online conversations and collecting data from various platforms on a specific topic including earned media such as social mentions, reviews, news articles, and more.    Soraia and Elena emphasized the importance of turning data into actionable insights. They showed us how everything begins with key strategic questions – clear business needs that drive meaningful insights. 🔍    We also dove into the two types of research scopes: High Recall/Low Precision and Low Recall/High Precision. Both are crucial when dealing with online and ever-evolving data in social listening projects. Elena provided concrete examples of the meticulous work involved in sifting through this data, isolating relevant mentions, and overcoming challenges along the way.     We also talked about the critical role of cross-team collaboration in identifying relevant topics early, tracking conversations, and transforming insights into compelling content for our consumers – delivered at just the right time. 🤝    Oscar's Lounge is more than just a format for exchanging ideas; it's a vibrant space where we and our guests come together for meaningful conversations, sharing motivational stories, and learning from each other’s experiences.     A sneak peek of a sneak peek of Lufthansa’s New Allegris Aircraft! ✈️  It hasn't been long since Lufthansa's new travel experience, the first Airbus A350 with Allegris, took off from Munich to Vancouver. With more destinations to follow, our content creators had a full day production to film and photograph the new interior of Lufthansa's second Allegris aircraft, a brand new A350-900. ✈️ 🌍     What does such a production look like? The location: The team started in the Lufthansa Technik hangar and continued when the aircraft was moved to the apron. Photography: Henar captured stunning images, highlighting intricate details. 360 view and 3D modeling: Sebastian took 360-degree shots and scanned 3D models for a comprehensive view of the aircraft. Filming: Hadrian and Max filmed the seats under different lighting conditions to showcase their features.     With this production, our goal was to capture content that highlights how the new features and details of the Allegris aircraft enhance the travel experience. Through behind the scenes and closer looks that are shared on social media, we aim to build excitement and anticipation for the Allegris aircraft and showcase how each premium feature and innovative design element can enhance the customer’s travel journey.     Afterwards, Max shared his excitement with us: "It was incredible to be among the first to explore the new seats and all the detailed features.", we can certainly feel the anticipation through the pictures.    Kudos to our content creators for their great work! 👏 #BehindTheScenes #production

    We’re excited to introduce Svenja! 🎉 Svenja joins us as a working student in the social media team while currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in journalism and strategic communications at the University of Passau. She brings valuable experience from her time working with the web editorial team at her university, and a stint in customer service within the digital media industry. 💻 Svenja’s passion for traveling sparked her interest in the aviation industry.     Diverse Voices at Oscars Lounge! 🌈 ✈️ Last week, we were thrilled to host Lukas Braun from Diversifly at our latest Oscars Lounge session. Diversifly is Lufthansa Group’s official LGBTQIA+ network dedicated to supporting the queer community, welcoming allies, creating safe spaces, and fostering opportunities for networking and exchange on LGBTQIA+ matters. Lukas shared invaluable insights about the Diversifly network, highlighting their mission to: 🌟 Promote acceptance and appreciation.  🌱 Develop talents.  🌍 Enhance understanding.  🏆 Become a leading employer. Run entirely by the voluntary efforts of colleagues, Diversifly not only organizes social events, but also addresses serious issues. The network serves as a safe haven for colleagues facing problems or discrimination. One of their most significant achievements is the #positivarbeiten initiative, in which they collaborated with the medical service to eliminate mandatory HIV testing for crew and cockpit staff. Furthermore, their Lovehansa aircraft with a special livery has been flying across Europe since 2022, marking another notable milestone. Lukas also presented the various activities organized by Diversifly, including afterwork events, donating to World AIDS Day by selling AIDS teddies in 2023, expert talks, Pride take-offs, exhibitions, excursions, workshops, and participation in professional committees. This year alone, they have been involved in 10 pride parades/celebrations across Germany! 🏳️🌈 Under the headline "Social Media - not so social?" Lukas shared posts from the Diversifly account in his presentation, showing the vibrant and well-received content. However, he also highlighted the downside of social media, noting the prevalence of hate speech and discriminatory comments on brand accounts. Lukas emphasized the critical role companies must play in taking a strong stance to protect their employees and uphold their values. 🤝 Oscars Lounge is more than just an exchange format; it’s a vibrant space where we and our guests engage in meaningful conversations, share motivational stories, and learn from diverse experiences.
