The Google Play Store has just introduced custom audiences, allowing developers to create personalized content for repeat users who haven't made a purchase yet. ASO expert Talha Mumtaz took a look at the new feature, and these were his first impressions: "The new Custom Audiences feature, accessible to developers who also have access to Promotional Content, can be a game-changer for apps offering in-app purchases. By targeting specific user groups through custom audiences, developers can tailor content and potentially increase user engagement and retention. Which — hypothetically — should be similar to the strategic approach behind Play Store’s recently introduced Custom Store Listings for inactive users or specific search terms. It will be interesting to see how Google allows developers to utilize Custom Audiences for monetization strategies." Are you already making use of this new feature?

Amazing to see another breakout win from Phiture's genAI ASO testing solution PressPlay. Lockwood Publishing Ltd used PressPlay to deploy 110 experiments to Google Play in just two months — which led to a staggering 57% conversion rate increase.
