QORIX announces automotive middleware software package.   QORIX intends to deliver company’s first complete middleware software package for the Snapdragon® Digital Chassis™ solution. Powers QORIX’s journey into multiple automotive programs.   Munich, Germany / Las Vegas, USA – January 9. 2024 – Automotive middleware specialist and technology company QORIX announced today the company’s plans to work with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to launch its software packages for Snapdragon® Digital Chassis™ platforms. Automotive OEMs need more system-on-chip (SoC)-level software packages to accelerate their software-defined vehicle (SDV) programs as they face challenges due to the non-availability of a single bundle middleware package, including software and hardware. The Qorix middleware software package aims to provide a tightly integrated, production-grade middleware solution for automakers, helping to improve their time-to-market while optimizing upfront integration complexities. Qorix will utilize their AUTOSAR-compliant “Classic” and “Adaptive” stacks and “Performance” middleware that has been developed for the particular needs of future SDVs. Working with Qualcomm Technologies and its Snapdragon® Digital Chassis™ platforms, Qorix hopes to help automakers address integration challenges with this solution. Qorix is welcoming Markus Schupfner who has joined the company as CEO and Managing Director.   Markus can look back on a long and successful professional career in automotive industry and held top management positions in several renowned companies. Before joining Qorix he was responsible as Senior Project & Product Vice President at CARIAD for solution management of entire cockpit and infotainment for premium launches. Earlier he was Vice President Advance Engineering Software & Digitization at Aptiv, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Senior Vice President at Visteon and Executive Vice President Operations at Elektrobit Automotive. Markus holds a Diploma in Mathematics from the University of Applied Science in Regensburg.   With more than 25 years of experience in software development for all vehicle domains and his extensive network within the worldwide automotive industry Markus is the right person at the helm of Qorix.
