Dr. Christian Niclaas Saggau participated in the 2023 Micrograph Award and submitted this great work, created using a RAITH VOYAGER. He describes his work in the following: “3D optical devices were self assembled by the sue of strained SiNx membranes which formed microtubular structures one released. This allows unique 3D structures to be created with very high precision, as established 2D structure processes can be used to fabricate a structure and then assemble it into a device. With this strongly coupled photonic resonator chains could be created showing novel photonic coupling phenomena.” Thank you again for sharing this amazing work!
