A huge thank you to everyone who participated—your willingness to save lives deeply touches us. We're also grateful for the many employees who have been registered with DKMS for years. ❤️   To support this remarkable commitment, we've donated €1,500 to DKMS to cover the registration costs for our team.   At RAUMEDIC, we demonstrate that our dedication to life extends beyond the workplace. 📢 Introducing Sustainable Cleanroom Clothing at RAUMEDIC! 🌍 Starting today, our main site has implemented new cleanroom overalls made from recycled PET bottles! 💚 Previously, we used a two-piece combination of a reusable coat and disposable pants in the production area. From now on, our new reusable overalls will completely replace the old coat - and the previously disposable pants. This transition not only significantly reduces waste but also promotes sustainability in our operations. ♻️ Our new coveralls are reusable, can be cleaned, and reused multiple times, saving a considerable amount of waste. By using overalls made from recycled PET bottles, we are making an important contribution to sustainability. The overalls are produced from recycled PET bottles, certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), and proudly display the RAUMEDIC logo on the chest. "This initiative is another step in our ongoing efforts to combine environmental awareness with efficiency in our workflows. Not only are we thrilled, but our customers have also welcomed this change and provided us with positive feedback," emphasizes Plant Manager Juergen Kuespert. Accompanied by his colleagues Rico Ott (Head of Environment, Traffic, and Safety) and Lutz Reuther (Head of Building Inspection), he toured the newly renovated facility. 🏥 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻: 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀   Based on a true story: When Sarah passed out and fell heavily in her bathroom, a dramatic race against time began. A subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is a bleeding between the brain and the thin tissue covering the brain, was caused by a ruptured aneurysm as a result of the fall (traumatic brain injury). This condition threatened her life. But that wasn't all...   A dangerous vasospasm, a narrowing of the blood vessels leading to an oxygen supply deficit, had developed as a consequence of the aneurysm rupture. This emergency scenario is fatal for a third of patients even before they reach the hospital. 🏥   Upon arrival at the emergency room, immediate action was taken. Thanks to the rapid deployment of innovative RAUMEDIC’s NEUROVENT PTO catheters, doctors were able to monitor critical parameters such as intracranial pressure, temperature, and oxygen partial pressure in the brain. This technology enables a reliable assessment of the brain's autoregulation and helps initiate the appropriate therapies. 👩⚕️   Sarah's case impressively demonstrates how crucial it is to have modern medical technology readily available. The use of our catheter was vital for her survival and highlights RAUMEDIC's valuable contribution to emergency medicine. This also gave the parents a valuable insight into their children's future place of work.   The afternoon began with warm words from CEO Stefan Seuferling and Global Vice President Human Resources Bianca Holler, who turned the initial nervousness of our new team members into a feeling of anticipation. 😊   Our dedicated responsible trainers, Lena Vogel and Sven Kus, led a varied program that ranged from a round of introductions to exciting tours of our company.
