Mitteldeutscher Wasserstoffkongress" in Erfurt yesterday!   🙌 A huge shoutout to Germany Trade & Invest for the invitation and to HYPOS Hydrogen Power Storage & Solutions e.V. and Europäische Metropolregion Mitteldeutschland for hosting such an outstanding event. The congress truly highlighted Germany's leading role in the hydrogen revolution. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻 Biogas plant operators worldwide are faced with a variety of profitability challenges due to strict regulations, rising costs, and diminishing subsidies. Reverion’s cutting-edge technology provides a sustainable and profitable solution: 🌱 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Our unit offers revolutionary efficiency, achieving up to 80% efficiency for power generation from biogas. This doubles the energy output from the same feedstock compared to conventional internal combustion engines (ICE), which average around 40% efficiency.   ⚡️ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Reverion units can switch between gas-to-power and power-to-gas modes in under a minute. This adaptability maximizes plant utilization and profitability, adjusting to fluctuating electricity market prices for optimal economic performance. 💚 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: Unlike ICEs, our units produce no off gas. CO2 generated during power production is captured and stored, enabling biogas plants to achieve zero or even negative emissions. This CO2 can be used industrially or stored long-term. Reverion is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of biogas, a renewable energy source that can both provide stable base-load power and balance grid fluctuations. Reverion will die Lücke auf dem Weg zu 100 Prozent erneuerbaren Energien schließen und setzt bei Biogasanlagen an. Das Unternehmen ist in kurzer Zeit auf inzwischen rund 110 Mitarbeitern gewachsen. Reverion gilt als eines der hoffnungsvollsten Startups in Bayern. Ausgezeichnet mit dem Bayerischen Energiepreis, erhielten die Gründer bisher nach eigenen Angaben rund 30 Millionen Euro an Förderungen und Kapital. Inzwischen ist Reverion dabei, in die Serienproduktion zu gehen. SKALIERUNG UND SCHNITTSTELLENPLANUNG ALS ERSTE SCHRITTE HIN ZUR „PRODUKTION VON WASSERSTOFF AN EINER CO2-NEGATIVEN BIOGASANLAGE“: Update der Forschungs- & Industriepartner unseres Arbeitspakets 7 ℹ Ziel des von Reverion geleiteten Arbeitspaketes AP 7 im Projekt H2-Reallabor-Burghausen-Chemdelta Bavaria ist es, die innovative Reverion-Technologie erstmalig in eine bestehende Biogasaufbereitungsanlage zu integrieren und den netzdienlichen Betrieb der gesamten Prozesskette zu demonstrieren. ▶ Im ersten Jahr des Projekts haben wir uns vor allem der Planung und Vorbereitung gewidmet. Unser Hauptziel war die Skalierung der Reverion-Anlage auf 500 kW Brennstoffzellen- und 1,5 MW Elektrolyseleistung zur effizienten Wasserstoffproduktion. ▶ Der Bau der containerbasierten Versuchsanlage hat begonnen und mit Landwärme GmbH, der Technische Universität München und Carbon CO2ncepts GmbH haben wir wichtige Schnittstellen zwischen der Biogasaufbereitungsanlage, dem Reverion-Container und der CO2-Verflüssigungsanlage definiert. ▶ Die CO2-Verflüssigungsanlage wurde bereits von Carbon CO2ncepts bestellt. Nach erfolgreicher Lieferung wird sie das bei der Biogasaufbereitung und im Reverion-Container abgeschiedene CO2 verflüssigen, um dessen Transport und Wiederverwendung in der chemischen Industrie im ChemDelta Bavaria zu ermöglichen. ▶ Darüber hinaus haben wir die Grundlagen für die CO2-Logistik gelegt, indem erste Speicher, Liefer- und Abnahmeverträge erstellt wurden.
