We are thrilled to announce that SE3 Labs has won 1st place at the prestigious #InnoT24 competition, hosted by the Forschungsinstitut Cyber Defence (CODE) at Bundeswehr University Munich and the German Federal Ministry of Defence | Bundesministerium der Verteidigung (BMVg), along with an opportunity prove our solution in more extensive test tests.
Our winning pitch, “Real-time 3D ISTAR & Target Acquisition with Autonomous UAVs and an AI Co-pilot,” showcases our cutting-edge technology in real-time 3D reconnaissance and target acquisition using autonomous UAVs equipped with AI co-pilots.
The event offered amazing insights, great organization and saw attendance from high-level officials, including Generalleutnant Michael Vetter, CIO at the Federal Ministry of Defense, and Brigadegeneral Armin Fleischmann, who awarded us the first place.
This recognition underscores the innovation and relevance of our solutions for the Bundeswehr and other defense & security stakeholders, emphasizing the transformative potential of our 3D AI and Computer Vision technology.

Observing the advances in GPT4o and 3D vision models, such as DUST3R, I am totally excited about the multimodal capabilities of genAI. In April, I concluded my student research project at SE3 Labs, where I developed a chatbot that allows one to interact with 3D scenes through high-level language. With a great guidance from SE3 Labs team, I have built upon the latest advances in vision, vision-language models, and multimodal LLMs used in an agentic way; see the sneak peek below!
