MEET & GREET WITH A LEGEND - What an unforgettable surprise for the talented ladies of the New Jersey Demons basketball team! Sheryl Swoopes, a pioneer in women's basketball and a true legend, was at our Barclays Store for a meet and greet with the team! She spent quality time with the girls, sharing her experiences and posing for photos to make the moment unforgettable. Keep rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin' - We’ve teamed up with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and the talented Berlin artist XULI to bring something unique to the streets!   As part of the Yamaha Yard Built program, we’ve given the XSR900 GP, YZ250, and TMAX a fresh makeover. The result? The coolest retro racing look ever - with a black and white full wrap in the “Abstract Urbanism” design that perfectly combines urban culture with Yamaha’s iconic spirit.   This epic project came to life thanks to XULI’s creative genius. The visual artist, who has worked with top international brands and well-known musicians, used her unique mixed technique of spray paint and acrylic paints. Inspired by urban stories and her deep connection to the subculture and graffiti scene, her designs reflect themes such as freedom, independence and social justice.   Our SNIPES Studio44 in our store in the Alte Post in Berlin Neukölln was the perfect spot to showcase these one-of-a-kind bikes. In our community space, which features a professional dance and recording studio available for local talents to use for free, XULI brought her vision to life. The bike trio is about to hit the road for a SNIPES store tour, kicking off at our flagship store on Schildergasse in Cologne. HONORING THE PAST, CELEBRATING THE PRESENT, EMPOWERING THE FUTURE! It may have been a while ago, but it's too good not to share with you!  Last month, we reflected upon and celebrated Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of the last enslaved people in the United States on June 19, 1865, marking a huge step in the fight for equality and justice.  We were thrilled to celebrate at the Juneteenth Festival in Philly, in collaboration with International Bounce. The festival was a vibrant celebration of culture and freedom, featuring an array of music, delicious food, live performances, and more. Being part of this event was a real honor, and the community’s energy and spirit were next-level inspiring. Seeing everyone come together to celebrate our history and culture reminded us of our strength and resilience. Big thanks to everyone who came out and made the Juneteenth Festival unforgettable. In our ongoing mission to turn dreams into realities within our communities, we journeyed to Roxbury, MA, alongside the incredible team at Teen Empowerment. With a mission to employ, train, and empower youth, Teen Empowerment encourages young people to use their voices and creativity to lead within their communities. CULTURE CONNECTS - Excitement is in the air as we wrap up our International Store Manager Meeting in Dusseldorf! Store managers from all over Europe gathered for an unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, knowledge-sharing, and, of course, some well-deserved fun.  Our program was packed with insightful presentations from various departments, dropping valuable insights and innovative strategies to keep SNIPES leading the game in the retail industry. But it wasn’t all work – we made sure to leave plenty of time for networking, exchanging ideas, and celebrating our shared passion for SNIPES. The energy was next level, and the dedication of our fam truly shined through. This crew is all about that hustle and heart, showing why we are leaders in the industry. WE AIN’T STOPPIN’! It’s our favorite time of the year: Festival season is going wild! Our SNIPES Fam pulled up at the Open Air Frauenfeld festival last weekend as one of the main sponsors of one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in Europe!  Our community always pays attention to their style! With all the changing weather conditions, emotions and hours on their feet at a festival, they were even happier to find our SNIPES store right there at the festival. And this year, the offer at the store was even more special: we dropped our new SNIPES Concepts.01 collection before it officially launched! And guess what – they loved it and rocked the fits! To top it off we built a dope street soccer pitch together with our partners from adidas. This festival highlight was perfectly timed with the European Championship and attracted a lot of visitors who not only wanted to play soccer but also came to see German rap legends Celo & Abdi at our meet & greet. Together we organized a football tournament and created a great activation for our community. Pure vibes, great music and fire looks all in one place! MORE THAN FASHION – IT'S CULTURE! SNIPES launched a new and very special collection: SNIPES Concepts.01. The apparel of the SNIPES brand has always been popular within our community. Now we've taken the next step and created more than merch. In cooperation with the renowned streetwear designer Ilias Belyamna from Low Lights Studios GmbH, we reinvented SNIPES as a fashion brand: SNIPES Concepts.01 signals a shift from oversized logos to a focus on quality, sophistication, and urban edge. The new line comes with a new logo design and an entirely new look and feel to set the collection apart. And this is only the beginning! Further collections in collaboration with different designers will follow. However, for SNIPES Concepts.02, which is already in the making, SNIPES will continue to work with Ilias. Every collection will maintain its unique identity, but the vision remains the same: to make high-quality streetwear accessible to all.  And of course, the team’s already working on a lot of activations to create buzz around our new collection.
