Stabilus Q3 FY2024 results: First-time consolidation of Destaco benefits revenues and earnings In Q3 our Group revenues increased by 14.4% year-on-year to € 350.7m, reflecting the first-time consolidation of the industrial automation supplier DESTACO. While we achieved organic revenue growth in APAC, the organic development in EMEA and Americas was impacted by lower call-off volumes in the Automotive and Commercial Vehicle market.   Highlights: ➡ The integration of Destaco is fully on track ➡ Destaco’s solid project pipeline will further strengthen our industrial business, and we are close to our strategic objective of balanced revenues between our industrial and automotive business ➡ We confirm our FY2024 revenue und adj. EBIT forecast, which we had updated in June ➡ Also we confirm our STAR 2030 goals in spite of a challenging environment   We look forward to continued sales with innovative products in both our industrial and automotive businesses, such as our DA-90 door actuator and strong Destaco products such as precision link conveyor systems for the pharma and medical sectors. Furthermore we will continue investing in R&D, as well as continue to drive the automation of our production. On the occasion of today's Shift Workers Day, we would like to recognize the hard work and dedication of people who work in shift operations. 🕐🔄 At #Stabilus, we also have colleagues in various global locations who work around the clock to ensure that our production runs smoothly and making motion control safe and easy each and every day. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Dominik Braun. He works as a shift supervisor in Koblenz and has answered a few questions we asked about his work. 💬 ➡️ In which area do you work? “I'm working in DESM (maintenance) as a shift supervisor and VEFK for the company's electricians since September 2023. But I also worked as a maintenance technician in shift operation before.” ➡️ How do you experience shift work? “To me shift work offers flexibility, but it is also challenging” ➡️ What advantages do you see in shift work? “The advantages of shift work are that you can plan your private appointments better without taking any leave. My wife can also attend appointments in the morning and I can look after our daughter if I have a late shift, for example. Meet Ralf Kap, our DEPO segment leader at #Stabilus. Ralf currently holds the position of DEPO Segment Leader, and he defines his role as a service provider for his team. He shares his primary goal, saying, 'My utmost objective is to ensure that my team remains safe and, whenever possible, finds satisfaction in their work.” He continues “I assist them in producing our products with the highest possible quality meeting customer orders in terms of quantity and agreed-upon delivery dates. I constantly monitor the productivity of production processes to continuously enhance them with my team.” Ralf's daily routine revolves around shopfloor management. He addresses workplace safety, quality, production output, productivity, and delivery schedules. In the second cascade, he collaborates with other segment leaders and department heads to review key performance indicators (KPIs) and receives information on various projects and developments, including input from the Factory Director's circle. When asked about what he enjoys most about his job, Ralf emphasizes the interpersonal aspect, the ever-changing nature of his role, and the opportunity to leave his mark within the company: 'The contact with many people, the job is never boring, and the chance to 'leave one's own fingerprint' within the company.' As for a 'Fun Fact' about himself, Ralf reveals with amusement, 'Due to my appearance, I can sometimes surprise other people with talents they didn't expect from me.
