Nice to meet you and welcome back, Merle Radeck! 👏 📅 How long have you been with TEKO? "My first day at TEKO was in 2008 when I started as an apprentice in wholesale and foreign trade management. In 2011, I began my dual studies in Business Administration/SME Management at TEKO, which I completed in 2014. Since then, I have been working in quality management." 💪 What is your strength? "My strength lies in optimizing business processes." 👍 What do you particularly like about working at TEKO? "I especially enjoy working with my colleagues and the friendly atmosphere we maintain." 👨👩👦👦 How did you feel about returning to TEKO after your parental leave? "After two years of parental leave, I faced the significant challenge of re-entering the workforce. Initially, I was quite uncertain, but after the first few days in the office, that uncertainty disappeared. The team welcomed me warmly and made my return much easier. The flexible arrangement of my tasks and working hours, as well as the excellent collaboration with the colleague who covered for me in quality management during my absence, were particularly helpful. Quality management remains a highly exciting field that has fascinated me since my studies. I genuinely enjoy working with business processes, understanding their interconnections, and observing their interactions. This work gives me a fantastic insight into all areas of the company. Currently, I am working on projects related to the EU directive on sustainability reporting, which establishes a unified European standard for companies' reporting on environmental, social, and governance issues. However, finding the balance between work and family is definitely a challenge. I am very grateful that TEKO has been so flexible in accommodating my needs. Another impressive project by ZORZI Kältetechnik I Frigotecnica has been completed! 🌍🚀 The completion of a state-of-the-art CO2 system with a gas cooler showcases the outstanding collaboration between ZORZI Kältetechnik I Frigotecnica, TEKO, WURM, Arneg S.P.A. and INCOLD S.P.A.. This project sets new standards in refrigeration technology and provides tailored solutions to meet customer requirements. 🔧 Project Facts: • CO2 unit ROXSTAsmart with 4 MT-BITZER compressors (first compressor with VFD) and 2 LT-Bitzer compressors (first compressor with VFD) MT = 64 kW, to -10°C LT = 17 kW, to -32°C • Gas cooler with 146 kW gas cooler capacity (air in: 38°C, t gc out: 40°C) • Heating output thanks to heat recovery max. 160 kW (30°C / 45°C) • Control technology by WURM (commissioning support from Wurm Austria) • Use of heat recovery to heat the market 🔍 Project Highlights: • Why double the collector volume? – Due to the large piping network and the large gas cooler, driven by high outdoor temperatures, a correspondingly large filling volume is required. • Special feature: TT network – FI switch + main switch with neutral disconnection, a frequent requirement in Italy. • Custom setup – MPREIS markets are usually individually designed and therefore require customized solutions from project to project. ❄️ Which cooling points does the TEKO system cool in the market? • 2 x medium temperature (MT) cold rooms • 2 x low temperature (LT) cold rooms • 16 x MT cooling points for dairy products, meat, gastronomy, fruits/vegetables, beverages • 3 x LT cooling points A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for the excellent collaboration and dedication that made this project possible. 🌱 TEKO sets standards in energy efficiency and environmental protection! Since April 2015, companies have been required by BAFA regulations to have their energy consumption audited every four years. TEKO has recently successfully completed its third energy audit. Together with Johanna Dunez from OVAG and under the supervision of Sebastian Seip, all consumption points in the company were recorded to identify savings potential. 💡 Success Story: TEKO has already implemented numerous measures to reduce electricity consumption, such as switching to LED lighting, which has led to significant savings. 📉 CO2 Reduction: From 341.5 tons of CO2 in 2018 to an impressive 45.6 tons in 2023 – TEKO shows that sustainable practices can make a big difference! 🔍 Future-Oriented Measures: TEKO plans to renovate additional buildings and increase the use of renewable energy. A new measurement concept and load management will help to control energy consumption and further reduce costs. 🌍 Together for Climate Protection: "The successful energy audit by TEKO shows that the company is on a good path to act more environmentally friendly and make an important contribution to climate protection," explains Johanna Dunez. New Developments in Sustainable Energy! 🍃 Vitalis is installing a 1.5MW (426.5TR) CO2 (R744) heat pump at the University of British Columbia (UBC) to strengthen the university’s eco-friendly energy network. As the head of our production control department, Daniel uses his expertise to ensure that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. 🗓️ How long have you been working at TEKO? "I started at TEKO in 2008 through a temporary employment agency, working in internal logistics. In 2009, I began working in production control as a clerk. In 2021, I took over the management of production control." 🔧 What exactly do you do at TEKO? What is your core competency? "I plan production capacity for pre-production, assembly line, assembly, and special construction. Additionally, I identify and assess risks and promote initiative and critical thinking among our employees." ❤️ What do you particularly like about working at TEKO? "I appreciate the collaboration with my colleagues and team. It's exciting to face new challenges and implement improvements in production." Today, we are presented to you the commissioning of our state-of-the-art COOLSHIFT dual M water/water CO2 heat pump! This system plays a crucial role in the building's energy management, combining efficient heating and cooling in one unit. 🌡️❄️   Dual Benefits: ❄️Chilled Water: Optimal cooling for our production processes. 🌡️ Hot Water: Effective heating for our buildings and support for additional processes. Depending on demand and cooling capacity, additional heat can be extracted from geothermal probes or an external air heat exchanger. 🌍🌬️    This project is part of the construction of a new production hall for a company specializing in environmental simulations. 🚀 New #Collaboration for Teko Polska! 🚀   This week, we were pleased to welcome Potestast Sp. z o.o. as our newest customer at Teko Polska! Starting this year, Potestas Sp. z o.o. has become a partner of one of the largest international retailers in Poland. 🏬 🛒   Our collaboration with Potestas Sp. z o.o. was formed through past projects in various companies where the owners of our two firms were involved. The first order was placed in the last two months and is set to be implemented as early as September.   To ensure optimal preparation, Potestas Sp. z o.o. requested a special WURM training, focusing particularly on their retail project. We conducted a comprehensive two-day session: one day dedicated to the WURM training and another for a production tour.   We are confident that this collaboration will bring great success and innovation.
