📢Big news ahead! We - the Social Media Team of thyssenkrupp Digital Projects - have spent the summer working on something really exciting: the redesign of our LinkedIn channel! 🎉 The reimagined templates shall reflect the incredible energy and creativity of our team in a cleaner, more modern way. At the same time, the design aligns with our thyssenkrupp corporate identity and was partly inspired by our corporate brand logo: Do you recognize the rings on our template?🔎 We'd love to hear your thoughts on our new design! What do you think about it? 💭 As we kick off September with this first post in our new look, we will be introducing our other designs in the next postings to you. Stay tuned for what's to come! 🚀 #tkDP #socialmedia #design #corporateidentity #newlook

☀ Day 2 of tkDP’s summer offsite event Last Friday was the second day of this year’s tkDP summer offsite, where we once again had an exciting agenda: Innovation Management Workshop 🚀 Our team member Jule-Catharina May introduced us to the world of innovation in a workshop aiming to provide a set of helpful methods and discuss the extent to which innovation could be relevant to our day-to-day work. In addition, we applied some of the methods on a real innovation challenge and thus enjoyed a hands-on experience delivering added value. nucera Strategy & Digitalization 💡 Our colleagues Thilo Städtler and Dietmar Wagner from thyssenkrupp nucera joined us and gave an exciting impulse on the strategy and digitalization acitivites at thyssenkrupp nucera. Safety Moment: Movement & Defibrillator Training 🩺 In the afternoon, we got active and did a short movement training session showing us exercises to support our physical health in day-to-day office life. Additionally, we had a first aid training on the use of defibrillators in emergency situations. Unfortunately, we were unable to fulfil two key items on our agenda during our offsite on Friday. We had to adjust our agenda due to a spontaneous invitation to the Leadership Call that was due to take place on the same day. The topics of tkDP Skill Matrix 🎓 & Deep Dive tkDP Technology Club 💻 will be covered in the coming weeks in the joint team meeting. And that is how our summer offsite event came to an end. It was two days full of inspiring and insightful content (+ some delicious food 🍰), enabling us to start the new week with fresh energy and ideas. Happy Monday! #teamevent #workshop #tkDP #thyssenkrupp #nucera #innovation

Exciting times at our offsite event! 🚀 Just yesterday, our annual two-day Summer Offsite started with an exciting first day in the beautiful halls of Mintrops Land Hotel Burgaltendorf in Essen: Meet & Greet with our CIO, Dr. Georg Ziegler A key highlight of the day was having Dr. Georg Ziegler, our CIO join us for the second half of the day. He offered us a Q&A session, sharing valuable insights into his role and the broader strategic direction of #IT at tk. Dr. Ziegler also joined us at our 'Project Marketplace', where we exchanged hands-on experiences about our latest projects. The day concluded with a tasty BBQ together on the sunny premises of the hotel. Other highlights of the day: tkDP Business Development: A journey through time ⌛ Our Business Development Working Group took us on a journey, showcasing our past achievements and future plans. It was an inspiring session that showcased our organizational development over the last years. tkDP internal Marketing: We proudly launched our new internal network site within the thyssenkrupp intranet. This platform will enhance our ability to connect across tk and promote our services more effectively. Outdoor activities ☀️ We took a refreshing break to enjoy the outdoors, engaging in a fun and relaxing activity that provided a welcome change of pace. AI at thyssenkrupp 🤖 We explored the latest advancements in #ArtificialIntelligence within tk, highlighting our commitment to innovation and technological progress. A huge thanks to everyone who contributed to making this offsite a success! 👏 Day 1 was already filled with enriching activities and presentations. As we kick off Day 2 at our headquarters in Essen, stay tuned for more updates on what’s in store! #tkDP #teambuilding #offsite #development #collaboration

Summer socialising at thyssenkrupp Digital Projects 😎 Over the summer, our team got together for some fun after-work events to make the most of the sunny days. Whether it was Swingolf or a refreshing dip at the "Werdener Wiesn", a nice pop-up beer garden in Essen Werden, our summer activities provided the perfect mix of sporting challenges and relaxed togetherness. Both events made the most of the beautiful summer days. There was plenty of time for the team to socialise away from the day-to-day running of the project. It always strengthens our team spirit and we enjoyed it. How do you spend the summer evenings with your team? #summerevents #team #tkDP #socialising #teamspirit #enjoysummer #afterwork

🎓 Insightful Inhouse BPM Training Session at tkDP 🎓 Two weeks ago, we hosted an engaging virtual training session on Business Process Management (BPM) for our employees. This interactive event provided valuable insights and practical knowledge in BPM, thanks to the expertise shared by our colleagues Christian Schulz, Marcus Prenzel and Rabea Adams. We explored the fundamentals of process management and introduced various process modeling methods. Through practical group exercises using our internal processes, we familiarized ourselves with these methods. Additionally, we presented a real-life case study and discussed strategies for process optimization, enhancing our practical understanding. This training is part of the knowledge-sharing culture that we foster at tkDP, allowing us to benefit from our collective expertise. A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this training a success! #BPM #ProcessManagement #InhouseTraining
