Mentoring a team in data science good practices for their project that builds a data product using time-series forecasts of demand and supply via machine learning, whose outputs become inputs to an optimisation with constraints, for a supply chain / procurement optimisation use case.

I regularly volunteer at the CERN stand at science events, like Automnales, La nuit de la science, La nuit des chercheurs, etc. where CERN activities are communicated to the general public, in both English and French. I have used robots to teach programming to children, explained how data analysis is done at CERN through the activity connect the dots, or explained generally about CERN.

During my graduate studies at McGill University in Canada I founded a science outreach project in Romania called StiintaAzi.ro. It gradually became the largest science news and outreach website in Romania, with 5,000 unique readers a day. It gradually became the largest science news and outreach website in Romania, with 5,000 unique readers a day. I wrote science news articles or translated particle physics outreach articles from sources that allowed us, such as the Symmetry and Elementaire magazines. I also learned establish contacts with the Romanian newspapers, which published my articles in their online editions: Adevarul, Cotidianul, Ziua, EvZ, Jurnalul, etc. I also offered several interviews about my research results and about the experience of studying abroad. I gave particle physics talks in about 20 schools in Romania and Republic of Moldova. I developed a community around the website's forum, where people asked questions about science and information about studying abroad. At the end of my PhD, in January 2012, I offered the content of my website for free to Scientia.ro. I mentored high school students in building and presenting science and technology projects to a competition funded by UPC Romania as a social corporate responsibility project. I also wrote science articles and talked at their summer school.

I visited primary schools in Montreal where I organized hands on experiments involving renewable energies (solar cells) and recycling paper (creating their own paper from a paper pasta).

I spoke to the general public about CERN, particle physics, the Higgs boson on two events of CERN Open Days in September 2013 and 2014.
