Diversity & Inclusion was one of the top agenda of Tata Power and further it was Cascaded to all the Tata group companies. The goal was set by Tata Group, but the initiatives and conceptualization of goals were left to individual Core HR teams.
Awareness Program:
Leading the Diversity & Inclusion program at Tata Power SED by spreading the awareness first at the Leadership level, all the Head of departments attended 3 days Tata Group Level D&I workshop. Second focus was making the…Diversity & Inclusion was one of the top agenda of Tata Power and further it was Cascaded to all the Tata group companies. The goal was set by Tata Group, but the initiatives and conceptualization of goals were left to individual Core HR teams.
Awareness Program:
Leading the Diversity & Inclusion program at Tata Power SED by spreading the awareness first at the Leadership level, all the Head of departments attended 3 days Tata Group Level D&I workshop. Second focus was making the Heads as mentors and then conducting the Inhouse awareness workshop for the next in line employees.
Leadership programs for Women employees:
Motivational workshop was arranged by inviting women achievers to share their experiences with women employees. Spouses of Male employees were also invited for workshop.
Special women’s Recruitment drives where arranged. Only male candidate required was completely abolished from all the job postings.
Ready for future:
Women leaders where identified through the rating received during PMS and where nominated for LDP programs.
Various small initiatives and changes at workplace lead to bag the award as best place to work for women employees in 2016.
The journey started continues…
