FidAR e.V. [Women into Supervisory Boards] is a registered and recognized non-profit association based in Berlin that works supra-regionally, non-partisan, independently and exclusively on the basis of existing democratic principles in Germany and the EU. This association was founded in 2006 by women in management positions from business, science and politics with the aim of significantly and sustainably increasing the proportion of women on German supervisory boards. FidAR calls for appropriate measures and has extended this demand to operational management positions in order to take account of equal opportunities between women and men and to strengthen and promote legal progress towards equality. FidAR members take this demand into account as individuals and in their respective important positions in business, science and public life.
