    I have the great honour of giving talks to the students of muse case labs, a Berlin-based tech education company. They seek to rediscover teamwork – working hand in hand and learning to truly see and think differently.

    Muse case labs are a group of experienced digital creators with years of teaching experience and many successfully launched projects under their belts. They are based in Berlin and Stuttgart and are running an Advanced UX/UI Design Bootcamp, and their graduates are…

    I have the great honour of giving talks to the students of muse case labs, a Berlin-based tech education company. They seek to rediscover teamwork – working hand in hand and learning to truly see and think differently.

    Muse case labs are a group of experienced digital creators with years of teaching experience and many successfully launched projects under their belts. They are based in Berlin and Stuttgart and are running an Advanced UX/UI Design Bootcamp, and their graduates are, hopefully all, going to be hitting the job market as not juniors but intermediate level and higher.

    They invited me to prepare their students for the design job market in interactive Q&A sessions. We discuss topics such as the post-COVID-19 situation and current lay-offs in the start-up world. About relevant players in the design market, requirements for the skill profile of product designers, salary benchmarks in the industry and negotiation strategies.

    ReDI School of Digital Integration is a non-profit digital school for tech-interested newcomers in Germany. Cogs saw the incredible work ReDI was doing for young people and with their knowledge of talent shortages for digital jobs across the country, they knew there was space for a brilliant collaboration.

    The first event offered interview coaching, CV doctoring, social media training, Q&A preparation and much more. It was a huge success. The next logical step was to explore ways to get these very bright, motivated and ambitious students in front of potential employers to test those skills. And therefore Cogs and ReDI joined forces again for a Tech Speed Dating event, bringing together some of the leading digital and tech companies together with the ReDI School students. Students were given an extraordinary opportunity to pitch themselves, ask questions and share their CVs with HR and hiring managers from selected digital agencies, innovation hubs and tech start-ups across Germany.

Niels has a closer look at the "be a leader - propaganda“ and notes that being a leader is not about leadership at all: It is still about dependency, steering, and command-and-control.
