As a trained pharmacist (MPharm) and MBA holder, my nearly two-decade long professional Medical Affairs journey consists of two parts and cements my ambition to focus on holistic patient care and physician engagement:
Phase I:
- 15 years of in-pharma Medical Affairs experience with a focus on Medical Information, Medical Education, Sales Training, KOL/KEE Engagement, KPI-setting, Medical Affairs Planning, Account Planning, Governance and Compliance
- I held various roles starting with Medical Information Specialist to Regional Medical Director
- Have been very fortunate to lead teams across Europe, Middle East and Africa at Merck, J&J (formerly Actelion), Reckitt Benckiser and Schering-Plough
- Have led and supported over 5 product launches
- Successfully conducted +20 sales trainings covering Rx & OTC products, food supplements and medical devices
- Therapy area focus has been on dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology and rare diseases
Phase II:
- Had the privilege of joining a strategic consulting firm at the start of the pandemic and continued leading Medical Affairs projects ranging from Medical Affairs Planning, Development of Scientific Narratives and Medical Affairs Strategies, MSL Organisational Planning and Stakeholder Mapping
