We are looking for two experienced Channel Managers for Germany to join our amazing smart technology client. Primary target candidates will be working for companies in the smart tech industry, such as Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Transsion, Nokia (HMD).
Both these roles are under regional office headcounts, one mid-level, and one at more senior level. The mid-level Channel Account Manager will look after a major telco account for sell-through business.
The more senior Channel Account Manager will look after an even larger telco account for sell-through business (and can potentially advance to Team Leader of this team).
Both positions report to the Regional Telco Operator Channel Dept Head. Salary ranges from €70k to €100k (depending on seniority), plus bonus.
Responsibilities
Responsible for sales, business development and relationship management for Germany Telco partners
Develop and implement promotional plans to deliver against sales KPI’s (revenue & volume)
Obtain trust and foster deep relationships with key decision makers to increase brand consideration
Manage day-to-day customer engagement, resolve challenges and ensure business continuity
Regularly report on sales progress and account development including key actions to drive sales
Acquire systematic understanding of partners ongoing requirements to drive ‘win-wins
Ensure stock control, accurate sales forecasting & align intake plans
Plan, track and control account investment and budgets
Support planning and direction of all account marketing initiatives
Become expert for our client’s products, services and propositions and effectively communicate to partners / key customers
Coordinate quarterly product ranging process and commercial negotiations
Own cross-functional relationships; sales, commercial, supply chain, marketing, GTM and portfolio (internal/external)
Requirements:
Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in German is a major plus
Primary candidates will be working for other smart tech vendors in their Telco Channel Depts OR will be Channel Sales candidates from other consumer electronics product vendors with previous Telco channel experience
5+ years’ experience in Telecoms, Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries
Results driven with proven track record in sales (we need to see your numbers)
Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and facilitation skills
CRM experience, with track record in building strong relationships
Ability to see big picture, identify, own, and resolve challenges
Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office (strong Excel, Word and PPT a must)
Strong preference for candidates with experience in developing/executing key accounts within Telecoms or Consumer Electronics sector and with industry knowledge
