Development Engineer (f/m/d) High-Frequency Power Amplifier

Your tasks

• Development of semiconductor power stages and other assemblies (RF & VHF power amplifiers, RF power combiners / splitters / directional couplers) for high-frequency generators
• Power classes in the HF and VHF range from 1 kW to 10 kW
• Conception and calculation of the circuits with Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS
• Simulation of the circuits in Labview, Python or MATLAB/Simulink
• Construction of the prototypes and their commissioning as well as verification
• Participate in further automation of the laboratory environment
• Collaborate with PCB design, engineering, software development and manufacturing departments
• Close collaboration with the customer on technical issues and the joint development of proposed solutions
  
  
  

What we are looking for

• Completed studies (Master/PhD) in electrical engineering or physics
• Experience in circuit development for high frequency or power electronics, especially the optimal adaptation of power semiconductors
• Knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C++)
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Enjoy working within an interactive and international team
• High flexibility and independence as well as willingness to travel
