During your time as part of the 30+ person Internal Consulting team, you will get to know the strategic heart of the company via hands-on project work while taking part in team training opportunities. You will gain a unique perspective into the inner workings of Boehringer Ingelheim as the Internal Consulting team passionately ensures the success of major strategic initiatives that shape the future of our company from new business, therapeutic areas and portfolio strategies up to digital & agile transformations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Together with your colleagues, you advise the internal business partners (Human Pharma, Animal Health, Enabling Functions) on strategic and operational issues
You will create compelling analyses, research project-specific questions, and assist in the development of solutions to complex problems
Preparation of presentations for senior stakeholders and collation/refinement of results will be a key part of your work
You will apply agile project management methods to your project work and support the preparation and wrap-up of meetings and workshops
Your Profile:
Master’s or PhD student in economics, science, business, medicine, human resources, engineering, or similar. It is also possible to complete an internship during a gap year between Bachelor’s and further advanced degrees
First professional experience in industry or in business consulting through internships or training
Very good analytical skills, problem solving skills, with confidence in professional communication
Dedicated and team-oriented way of working as well as a high willingness to learn
Good knowledge of MS Office
Fluency in spoken and written English
What we can offer you:
As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week
In our team we work as needed on-site in Ingelheim, enabling a hybrid working model in which you can work remotely several days a week
The duration of the internship is 3-6 months. The internship start date is flexible, with internships starting several times a year. The earliest start date is currently in September 2024. Please enter the desired period in your application.
