IT System Administrator (m/f/d) for data center services

Permanent position, full-time - Cologne

Your tasks

• The planning, implementation and administration of Microsoft Active Directory environments to ensure smooth authentication and access control
• The efficient virtualization and management of server resources to optimize the performance and availability of customers' IT infrastructure using VMware vSphere
• Configuring, maintaining and updating Microsoft Windows servers to ensure a secure and reliable server environment
• Supporting the connectivity and performance of complex server and storage environments using basic networking skills
• Identifying and resolving server and infrastructure issues
• The maintenance, care and further development of our own data centers, where we offer our customers cloud & hosting services
  
  

Your profile

• You have successfully completed an IT degree / training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable IT training and have already gained several years of professional experience
• You have analytical skills to resolve complex IT infrastructure faults
• You have experience in the administration and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and MS Active Directory
• Ideally, you have system house experience or knowledge of migration projects
• With your specialist knowledge, you can quickly find your way around complex infrastructures and are able to achieve optimizations through weak point analyses
• Your qualities include a strong sense of service, commitment and enthusiasm
• Team spirit, commitment and communication skills are part of your personality
• You have a class B driving license
• Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite - other languages are welcome
