Tasks & Responsibilities
In your new role, you co-drive and extend the Sourcing Strategy for Business Process Outsourcing in close alignment with the leading Global Category Manager
You prepare for future sourcing challenges in the category of Business Process Outsourcing and related Medical Services by staying updated on industry trends and market dynamics while collaborating closely with other (Senior) Category Managers to identify, evaluate, and classify sourcing risks, and develop risk mitigation measures
Moreover, you will identify and assess potential and existing suppliers, maintain strong relationships with them and establish global Frame Agreements
Accelerating your cross-category expertise and personal development, you will be closely collaborating with the Category Manager for Business Process Outsourcing and Medical Services to take over responsibility for important strategy implementation and maintenance activities like tender execution
Additionally, you act as a point of contact within the Sourcing team to ensure alignment on issue resolutions, common goals, strategies, and manage demands for a smooth transfer of relevant information both internally and externally
Lastly, you will introduce innovation from the external marketplace by utilizing the concept of Strategic Supplier Relationship Management and by participating in cross-functional teams that implement innovative ways of working to bring us to the next level on various dimensions (e. g. speed, cost, new technologies, optimization of buying channels, etc.)
Requirements
Master's degree or Diploma in business administration and/or life sciences
Few years of experience in Sourcing paired with first experience in Category Management in an international environment is a benefit
Understanding of demand management, market and supplier analysis, compliance management incl. due diligence, risk management, innovation, supplier management, contract management, negotiation techniques and other established sourcing methodologies
An open-minded, motivated, persuasive, and perseverant personality with outstanding internal and external relationship management skills and willingness to take on responsibility
Team player with intercultural awareness and strong communication skills in English, knowledge of the German language is a plus
